"title": "Keep the Chain Local: No Liberal, Outside-Chicago Influence on Our Waterway",
"content_text": "Chain O' Lakes boaters pay the fees and live with the rules. Join us Thursday, Oct. 29 at Captain's Quarters in Antioch to talk about who's really calling the shots on the Fox Waterway.",
"content_html": "## CHAIN O' LAKES PATRIOTS: WHO'S CALLING THE SHOTS ON OUR WATER?\n\n**Enough small talk. Let's get down to business.**\n\nYou pay the boat sticker fees. You deal with the no-wake zones. You navigate the shallow channels. You spend your hard-earned money on the Chain O' Lakes every summer.\n\nSo here's the question nobody in a suit wants you asking: **who actually makes the decisions about our waterway, and whose interests are they serving?**\n\nThe Fox Waterway Agency has authority over boating regulations, waterway restrictions, dredging priorities, and millions of dollars in spending. That's a hell of a lot of power over a place that belongs to the people who live here.\n\n## THE CHAIN BELONGS TO THE CHAIN\n\nThis is not Lake Michigan's lakefront. It's not a downtown park district. It's not a playground for Springfield bureaucrats or Chicago-style politics that treats every problem as a reason for more fees, more rules and more control.\n\nWe've all watched it happen elsewhere. The progressive playbook shows up dressed as \"safety\" or \"management,\" and before long the people who live on the water and fund it with their own money are the last ones consulted. Restrictions pile up. Costs go up. Decisions get made by people who don't launch a boat on Grass Lake, don't tie up outside a dock bar on Fox Lake, and don't dodge the sandbars in the channels.\n\n**We don't want liberal, outside-Chicago influence running our waterway.** We want local voices, local accountability, and money spent where boaters can see it: dredging, maintenance and keeping the Chain open for the families who've used it for generations.\n\n## THE RULES. THE MONEY. THE MAINTENANCE. THE DECISIONS.\n\nIf everything is running perfectly, great. Come say so. But if you've ever wondered where your sticker money goes, why some channels get dredged and others don't, or who decided the latest restriction, this is your night.\n\n**No boring speeches. No political theater. No sugarcoating.**\n\nHave questions? Bring them. Have something to say? Let's hear it.\n\n## BE THERE\n\n**Thursday, October 29th | 7 PM to 9 PM**\n\n**Captain's Quarters**\n38283 N. Bolton Place, Antioch, IL\n\n**Calling the whole Chain O' Lakes community:** Antioch, Channel Lake, Lake Catherine, Lake Villa, Lindenhurst, Ingleside, Fox Lake, Fox Lake Hills, Long Lake, and surrounding communities including Volo, Lakemoor and Round Lake.\n\nCome out to Captain's Quarters, grab a drink, and join the conversation. This isn't going to be your typical Thursday night.\n\n**The Chain O' Lakes. Big water. Big money. Big decisions. Keep it local. Let's talk about it.**\n\n**Who's in? Share this with every boater you know.**",

"title": "Hey, Look Ma, They Suddenly Love Pretrial Detention",
"content_text": "The SAFE-T Act was great until the accused was someone they did not like. A look at the selective outrage surrounding pretrial detention in Illinois.",
"content_html": "**The SAFE-T Act was great until the accused was someone they did not like**\n\n*By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*\n\nA woman is dead after a horrific boating crash. Prosecutors allege the boat operator was extremely intoxicated, traveling at a reckless speed and caused a collision that took an innocent life.\n\nLet me be perfectly clear.\n\nI believe the judge got it right by refusing to release him.\n\nI am not defending the accused. I do not care how much money he has, what kind of boat he owns or who he may support politically. If the allegations are proven, he belongs in prison.\n\nI am also personally grateful that he is no longer on the water while this case moves forward.\n\nUnlike many of the people treating this tragedy like another political argument in a Facebook comment section, my family and I actually use the Chain. We own a boat. My friends are out there. People I know and love travel those same waterways every weekend.\n\nAny one of us could have been the victim.\n\nThat makes this real for me. This was not some distant story involving strangers in another state. It happened on the water my family, friends and community regularly use.\n\nThat is another reason I believe the judge made the correct decision by keeping him detained.\n\nWhat interests me is the sudden change in attitude from people who have spent years defending Illinois criminal justice reform.\n\nFor years, supporters of the SAFE-T Act told us that accused criminals should not be jailed before trial simply because people were angry. We heard about fairness, compassion, equity, second chances and the presumption of innocence.\n\nThen this defendant arrived.\n\nHe has been described in comments as wealthy, white, privileged, a boat owner and a possible MAGA supporter.\n\nSuddenly, the same crowd that normally warns against pretrial detention is demanding that the jail door remain locked.\n\n\"Do not release him.\"\n\n\"Hold him without bail.\"\n\n\"Keep him locked up.\"\n\nHey, look Ma. They suddenly discovered public safety.\n\nAgain, I believe the judge got it right. He should not have been released.\n\nThe hypocrisy is not that the current law prevents detention. It does not. Judges can still hold defendants when prosecutors establish that release would create a serious danger.\n\nThe hypocrisy is how quickly some people change their principles depending on the identity of the accused.\n\nWhen the defendant fits a group they sympathize with, we hear about compassion and due process.\n\nWhen the defendant is someone they associate with money, boats, Republicans or MAGA, suddenly prior conduct matters. Public safety matters. The seriousness of the allegations matters.\n\nApparently, the rules change depending on who owns the boat.\n\nA woman lost her life. Another person was seriously injured. A family has been permanently changed.\n\nThe judge got it right. The accused should remain off the water and in custody while the case proceeds.\n\nBut it is still fair to ask whether the people demanding detention today would be saying the same thing if the accused belonged to a political group they supported.\n\nWould they still want him held?\n\nWould they still focus on his history?\n\nWould they still talk about protecting the public?\n\nOr would they be lecturing everyone about compassion, inequality and the presumption of innocence?\n\nThat is the selective outrage I am talking about.\n\nJustice should not depend on race, income, politics or social status.\n\nA wealthy defendant should not receive special treatment because he has money or connections.\n\nHe also should not receive harsher treatment because people dislike his politics, lifestyle or the kind of boat he owns.\n\nDangerousness should be determined by the evidence.\n\nIn this case, I believe the judge reviewed the allegations and made the correct decision by ordering detention.\n\nThe victim deserves justice. The accused deserves due process. The public deserves protection.\n\nAll three can be true at the same time.\n\nThe SAFE-T Act did not suddenly change.\n\nThe defendant did.\n\nAnd apparently, for some people, that changed everything.",

"title": "Democrats Confused at Antioch Parade by Lack of Nudity and Sex Toys, Now Blaming Local Patriot and Jeep Owner",
"content_text": "Antioch had a Fourth of July parade and some Democrats did not know what to do with themselves. No naked adults. No sex toys. Just families, flags, kids, candy, and a whole lot of America. So naturally, they had to find something to cry about.",
"content_html": "By Mike \"Mickey\" Scornavacco\n*Opinion*\n\n\n\nAntioch had a Fourth of July parade, and apparently some Democrats did not know what to do with themselves.\n\nNo naked adults.\nNo sex toys.\nNo leather leash brigade.\nNo \"family friendly\" public freak show being explained away as courage.\n\nJust families, flags, kids, candy, red, white, blue, and a whole lot of America.\n\nSo naturally, they had to find something to cry about.\n\n**Enter Bull.**\n\nBull is a local patriot. Bull owns a Jeep. Bull's Jeep is called Bull's Shit because, and I know this is complicated for the outrage department, the man's name is Bull.\n\nThat is the scandal.\n\nA privately owned Jeep, in a parade, had the word SHIT on the hood.\n\nNobody was harmed.\nNo children melted.\nThe village did not burst into flames.\n\nBut you would think Bull drove through Antioch dragging a school board member behind the Jeep while yelling tax code at toddlers.\n\nThe same people who look at Pride parades full of lewd public behavior, adult themes, kink gear, and things no child needs to see and call it \"brave\" suddenly found religion because a Jeep had a bad word on it.\n\nPlease.\n\nThey are not offended by vulgarity.\nThey are offended by **our** vulgarity.\n\nThey are not worried about children.\nThey are worried that patriots were laughing, waving flags, supporting John Muellner, and having a better time than them.\n\nThat is what really happened.\n\n**Bull did not ruin the parade.\nBull made the parade better.**\n\nHe rolled through town like a walking firework with tires. His Jeep had flags, decorations, a giant eagle, patriotic madness, and the kind of energy this country used to have before everyone got scared of Facebook comments.\n\nAnd yes, the Jeep says Bull's Shit.\n\nBecause it is Bull's Jeep.\n\nGrow up.\n\nThe funniest part is watching grown adults pretend this is some deep moral crisis. They zoomed in on pictures. They circled the hood. They typed paragraphs. They demanded apologies. They wanted people denounced.\n\nOver a Jeep.\n\nA Jeep.\n\nThis is where we are now.\n\n---\n\n**But the real story is not the fake outrage. The real story is John Muellner.**\n\nJohn Muellner got dragged into this because Bull supported him in the parade. And instead of running away like a scared politician, John stood right where he was.\n\nThat matters.\n\nMost politicians would have panicked the second they saw Bull coming. They would have called a consultant, hidden behind a banner, and issued some weak apology about \"tone\" and \"community values\" before the parade even ended.\n\nNot John.\n\nJohn knows Bull.\nJohn knows the Chain O Lakes Patriots.\nJohn knows exactly who we are.\n\nAnd he was not ashamed.\n\nThat tells me more about John Muellner than any mailer, slogan, or polished campaign speech ever could.\n\nJohn is not afraid of real people.\nHe is not afraid of loud people.\nHe is not afraid of funny people.\nHe is not afraid of patriots who do not fit inside some boring little political box.\n\nThat is why they want him to apologize. They do not want an apology because of Bull's Jeep. They want John to bend the knee. They want him to prove he can be scared. They want him to denounce the people who actually show up for him.\n\nHe did not.\n\nGood.\n\nLake County does not need another plastic politician who runs from his own supporters the second the online crybabies start shrieking.\n\nLake County needs people with backbone.\n\nBull has backbone.\nThe Chain O Lakes Patriots have backbone.\nJohn Muellner showed backbone.\n\nAnd that is why this whole meltdown backfired.\n\nInstead of making Bull look bad, they made Bull a legend.\nInstead of hurting the Chain O Lakes Patriots, they gave us free advertising.\nInstead of damaging John Muellner, they showed everyone that John stands with real people, not the complaint department.\n\n---\n\n**So let's make this crystal clear.**\n\nBull owes no apology.\nJohn Muellner owes no apology.\nThe Chain O Lakes Patriots owe no apology.\n\n**And there will be absolutely zero apologies for Bull's Shit.**\n\nThe parade was fine.\nThe kids were fine.\nAntioch was fine.\nAmerica was fine.\n\nThe only thing damaged was the emotional support bubble of people who can handle public vulgarity just fine, as long as it is not coming from patriots.\n\n---\n\n**Support John Muellner for Lake County Board.**\n\nHe is not fake.\nHe is not scared.\nHe is not ashamed of his supporters.\nAnd best of all, he is not acting like a politician.\n\n*Love,*\n*Mickey X 3* 🇺🇸",

"title": "Eric Rinehart: Far-Left Politics in Plain Sight",
"content_text": "Lake County residents should stop pretending Eric Rinehart is just a neutral prosecutor. His progressive ideology is public, and when his office brings politically loaded hate-crime cases, that ideology is fair game.",
"content_html": "**By Mickey Scornavacco | MickeyX3.com**\n\n\n\nLake County residents should stop pretending Eric Rinehart is just a neutral prosecutor calling balls and strikes.\n\nHe is not.\n\nHe is an elected Democratic State's Attorney with a very clear political brand, and that brand is progressive, activist, equity-driven, pro-SAFE-T Act, pro-gun-control, pro-abortion-rights, anti-MAGA, and deeply aligned with the modern left.\n\nThat matters.\n\nIt matters because the State's Attorney is not just another politician posting slogans on Facebook. He controls the power of prosecution. He decides what cases get charged, what cases get ignored, what gets treated as a misunderstanding, and what gets turned into a felony.\n\nThat is why the recent hate-crime case involving pro-ICE, anti-immigration, and MAGA-related posters deserves serious public scrutiny.\n\nNot because anyone has to like the posters. Not because anyone should defend real threats. Not because ugly speech should be celebrated.\n\nBut because when a far-left prosecutor's office takes politically offensive speech from the right and tries to convert it into a felony hate-crime case, the public has every right to ask one simple question.\n\n**Is this justice, or is this ideology?**\n\nAccording to the Lake County State's Attorney's Office, Derek Webb of Libertyville was charged with one count of hate crime and one count of disorderly conduct after allegedly posting signs that prosecutors claim directly threatened Latino and immigrant members of the community. Reporting on the case says prosecutors focused specifically on bullseye-style signs with the words \"Good Shot ICE,\" not simply the MAGA or pro-ICE signs.\n\nThat distinction matters.\n\nIf the State can prove a real, direct, legally recognized threat, then present the evidence in court.\n\nBut if the real issue is that the message was pro-ICE, anti-illegal-immigration, pro-Trump, MAGA-related, offensive, or politically unacceptable to progressives, then this becomes something much more dangerous.\n\n**It becomes viewpoint prosecution.**\n\nAnd that is where Rinehart's public ideology becomes impossible to ignore.\n\n---\n\nRinehart's own political record puts him squarely on the progressive left. His campaign messaging has focused on equity, racial disparities, implicit-bias training, immigration-related prosecution reforms, reduced fines and fees, and ending vehicle civil forfeiture. He has publicly supported the SAFE-T Act and cashless bail. He has supported abortion-rights politics. He has supported gun-control politics. He has publicly opposed MAGA politics.\n\nHis endorsement list tells the same story. Democratic officials. Progressive organizations. Criminal-justice reform groups. Racial-equity groups. Gun-control groups. Abortion-rights groups. The usual suspects of the modern activist left.\n\nThat does not automatically make every prosecution from his office illegitimate.\n\nBut it does make politically charged prosecutions worthy of scrutiny.\n\nA prosecutor with that public record does not get to charge a MAGA-related, pro-ICE poster case as a hate crime and then act shocked when people question the politics behind it.\n\n---\n\nThe First Amendment does not only protect approved speech. It does not only protect rainbow flags, progressive slogans, preferred pronouns, and activist-approved messaging.\n\nIt also protects speech that offends the government.\n\nIt protects speech that offends prosecutors.\n\nIt protects speech that makes activists furious.\n\nIt protects political speech from the right just as much as political speech from the left.\n\n**That is the entire point.**\n\nIllinois hate-crime law is broad. Disorderly conduct is broad. When those two are combined, prosecutors have a very wide net. And wide nets become dangerous when they are placed in the hands of ideological prosecutors.\n\nBecause once the government starts treating offensive political speech as criminal intimidation, the question becomes obvious.\n\n**Would the same standard apply in reverse?**\n\nWould Rinehart's office bring a hate-crime case if a left-wing activist used violent imagery against Trump supporters?\n\nWould a sign targeting conservatives be treated as a felony?\n\nWould an anti-police poster be prosecuted with the same energy?\n\nWould a sign mocking Christians, Republicans, gun owners, or ICE supporters get this level of attention?\n\nOr would we suddenly hear speeches about protest, activism, satire, context, restorative justice, and the importance of protecting controversial expression?\n\n**That is the problem.**\n\nThe standard cannot depend on whose politics are being attacked.\n\n---\n\nEqual justice means one standard.\n\nNot one standard for progressive activists and another standard for conservatives.\n\nNot one standard for Pride events and another standard for MAGA signs.\n\nNot one standard for favored groups and another standard for politically disfavored citizens.\n\nIf Webb made a real threat, prove it.\n\nIf he targeted people with a true threat of violence, prove it.\n\nIf this was criminal intimidation and not crude political expression, prove it.\n\nBut do not ask the public to ignore the obvious political backdrop.\n\n---\n\nEric Rinehart has chosen to make his ideology public. He has campaigned on it. He has branded himself with it. He has aligned himself with it. He has taken endorsements from it. He has wrapped his office in the language of the modern progressive prosecutor movement.\n\nSo when his office brings a politically loaded hate-crime case involving immigration, ICE, MAGA, and speech from the right, that ideology is fair game.\n\nThis is not about whether people like the posters.\n\n**This is about whether the government can turn the wrong political message into a felony.**\n\nThat should scare every American.\n\nBecause today it is a pro-ICE poster.\n\nTomorrow it could be a Facebook post.\n\nThen a meme.\n\nThen a school board comment.\n\nThen a campaign sign.\n\nThen an op-ed.\n\n**That is how free speech dies.** Not all at once. It dies when people cheer because the person being prosecuted is someone they already dislike.\n\nThe First Amendment was not written to protect comfortable speech. It was written to protect dangerous, offensive, unpopular, and politically inconvenient speech from government punishment.\n\nThe State's Attorney's job is to prosecute crimes, not police ideology.\n\nLake County deserves equal justice.\n\nNot political theater.\n\nNot progressive activism dressed up as prosecution.\n\nNot felony charges because the wrong side offended the right people.\n\nEric Rinehart's politics are not hidden.\n\n**They are in plain sight.**\n\nAnd Lake County voters should be paying attention.\n\n---\n\n*— Mickey Scornavacco, MickeyX3.com*",

about.\n\nIf they can't find something offensive, they'll manufacture it.\n\nIf they can't manufacture it, they'll exaggerate it.\n\nAnd if they can't exaggerate it, they'll simply lie.\n\nThen they'll post it online and wait for the likes.\n\nBecause in 2026, outrage isn't an emotion.\n\n**It's a business model.**\n\nNothing drives engagement like pretending obvious facts don't exist.\n\n---\n\nThe facts here are actually pretty simple.\n\nA young man is dead.\n\nAnother young man was convicted.\n\nA jury heard the evidence.\n\nA sentence was imposed.\n\nThat is literally how the justice system works.\n\nYet somehow we are supposed to believe this is proof that America itself has failed.\n\nReally?\n\nLet's play this game.\n\nSuppose the races were reversed.\n\nWould the same people be screaming about injustice?\n\nWould the same commentators be holding livestreams?\n\nWould the same activists be marching around demanding mercy?\n\nWould they be talking about understanding?\n\nHealing?\n\nCompassion?\n\nSecond chances?\n\nWe all know the answer.\n\n**Not a chance.**\n\nThey'd be demanding life in prison before the jury even sat down.\n\n---\n\nThe truth is that many of these people aren't upset about the outcome.\n\nThey're upset because the outcome doesn't fit their preferred narrative.\n\nAnd when reality collides with a narrative, reality becomes the enemy.\n\nThat's where we are as a country.\n\nFacts are optional.\n\nFeelings are mandatory.\n\nCommon sense is offensive.\n\nPersonal responsibility is controversial.\n\nAnd somehow the villain is whoever points out the obvious.\n\n---\n\nThe most fascinating part of all this is how quickly the victim disappears from the conversation.\n\nNotice that?\n\nThe dead kid becomes a footnote.\n\nHis family becomes irrelevant.\n\nHis future becomes meaningless.\n\nHis life gets pushed aside because the outrage merchants have found a more profitable story.\n\n**The criminal becomes the celebrity.**\n\n**The victim becomes an inconvenience.**\n\nThat's not justice.\n\nThat's insanity.\n\nWe've reached a point where some people spend more energy explaining why criminals shouldn't be punished than they spend caring about the people those criminals hurt.\n\nThat should concern everyone.\n\n---\n\nThe other thing that amazes me is the sudden appearance of thousands of legal experts.\n\nAmerica apparently has more constitutional scholars than lawyers.\n\nEvery Facebook comment section is filled with self-appointed criminal defense attorneys who received their law degree from TikTok University.\n\nThese are the same people who couldn't explain the difference between a misdemeanor and a felony last month.\n\nNow they're conducting forensic analysis between cat videos and conspiracy memes.\n\nAnd every single one of them knows more than the jury.\n\nMore than the judge.\n\nMore than the attorneys.\n\nMore than the witnesses.\n\nMore than the evidence.\n\nAmazing how that works.\n\n---\n\nBut that's the world we live in.\n\nEverybody is an expert.\n\nNobody is accountable.\n\nAnd outrage is the national pastime.\n\nThe truth is much less dramatic than social media wants it to be.\n\nThe justice system isn't perfect.\n\nNo human institution is.\n\nBut a jury system remains one of the greatest safeguards of freedom ever created.\n\nTwelve citizens.\n\nEvidence.\n\nWitnesses.\n\nArguments.\n\nDeliberation.\n\nA verdict.\n\nIt's not flashy.\n\nIt's not exciting.\n\nIt doesn't generate clicks.\n\n**But it works.**\n\nWhat doesn't work is deciding guilt or innocence based on hashtags.\n\nWhat doesn't work is declaring every verdict racist simply because you don't like it.\n\nWhat doesn't work is turning every criminal case into a tribal political battle.\n\n---\n\nAmerica is exhausted by this nonsense.\n\nNormal people are exhausted.\n\nThe people raising families.\n\nRunning businesses.\n\nWorking overtime.\n\nPaying mortgages.\n\nCoaching Little League.\n\nTaking care of aging parents.\n\nThose people look at this circus and shake their heads.\n\nBecause they still live in reality.\n\nThey still believe actions have consequences.\n\nThey still believe right and wrong exist.\n\nThey still believe personal responsibility matters.\n\nMost importantly, they understand a principle that used to be universally accepted:\n\n**You don't get to kill people and then demand applause when a jury holds you accountable.**\n\nThat isn't oppression.\n\nThat isn't racism.\n\nThat isn't injustice.\n\n**That's civilization.**\n\n---\n\nAnd maybe that's what really bothers the outrage crowd.\n\nCivilization requires standards.\n\nStandards require accountability.\n\nAccountability requires consequences.\n\nAnd consequences are kryptonite to people who believe every bad decision deserves an excuse.\n\nSo here we are.\n\nA dead young man.\n\nA convicted killer.\n\nA grieving family.\n\nAnd an internet full of professional victims screaming at the sky because reality refused to cooperate with their preferred storyline.\n\nForgive me if I don't join the outrage parade.\n\nForgive me if I don't pretend that common sense is controversial.\n\nForgive me if I refuse to believe that holding people accountable for their actions is somehow an attack on society.\n\nBecause despite what the outrage merchants are selling this week, America did not witness a tragedy in that courtroom.\n\n**The tragedy happened long before the verdict.**\n\n**The courtroom was simply where the bill finally came due.**\n\nAnd the fact that so many people are shocked by that says far more about them than it does about the justice system.\n\n---\n\n*Mickey Scornavacco is the founder of MickeyX3.com, where common sense still gets a vote—even when social media hates the results.*",

"content_text": "The allegations involving Jose Martinez strike at something far more dangerous: the idea that political power can be used to pressure private citizens behind closed doors. Antioch residents deserve answers.",
"content_html": "**By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco**\n\n\n\nSomething about the allegations surrounding Jose Martinez in Antioch, Illinois absolutely stinks.\n\nNot because politics got heated. Politics is supposed to be heated.\n\nNot because people argued. Americans argue every day.\n\nBut because the allegations involving Jose Martinez strike at something far more dangerous: **the idea that political power can be used to pressure private citizens behind closed doors.**\n\nAccording to allegations now being discussed publicly in Antioch, Jose Martinez allegedly confronted a local restaurant owner over the business hosting a political fundraiser for his opponent.\n\nThink about how insane that sounds for a second.\n\nA local business hosts a political event. An elected official allegedly shows up upset about it. Then discussions allegedly begin involving political influence, connections, community power, and who is or is not considered an \"ally.\"\n\n**If the allegations involving Jose Martinez are true, Antioch residents should be deeply disturbed.**\n\nBecause that is not how public servants behave. That is how political machines behave.\n\n---\n\nThe people of Antioch did not elect Jose Martinez to act like a political gatekeeper deciding which businesses are allowed to comfortably participate in local politics.\n\nBusinesses are not required to kiss the ring of Jose Martinez. Restaurant owners do not owe political loyalty to Jose Martinez. Citizens do not need permission from Jose Martinez to support another candidate.\n\n**That is the entire point of America.**\n\nAnd let's talk honestly about what bothers people most here.\n\nIt is not usually the loud public threats that scare business owners. It is the implied pressure.\n\nThe reminder that someone has influence. The reminder that someone has \"connections.\" The reminder that someone can either be your ally or your problem.\n\nThat is the type of political culture Americans are sick of.\n\nPeople in Antioch are tired of connected insiders behaving like local government is some private club where loyalty matters more than freedom.\n\n---\n\nJose Martinez should understand something very clearly: **holding office does not make someone untouchable.**\n\nIt absolutely does not give anyone the right to allegedly pressure private businesses over political activity.\n\nAnd if Jose Martinez believes Antioch residents are simply going to ignore allegations like these because local politics usually operates quietly, he is badly mistaken.\n\n**People are paying attention now.**\n\nBecause the bigger issue is trust.\n\nHow many business owners stay silent because they fear backlash? How many people avoid political involvement because they think connected officials like Jose Martinez can make life difficult? How many citizens simply keep their heads down because they do not want problems with local government insiders?\n\nThat is how communities become politically poisoned.\n\n---\n\nNo matter what political party someone belongs to, every American should agree on one basic principle:\n\n**An elected official should never allegedly leverage political influence, government status, or community pressure against private citizens for supporting an opponent.**\n\n*Ever.*\n\nIf Jose Martinez believes the allegations are false or misleading, then Jose Martinez should address them publicly and directly.\n\nNot through whispers. Not through allies. Not through spin.\n\n**Directly.**\n\nBecause the people of Antioch deserve answers.\n\nAnd more importantly, they deserve leaders who understand that public office is a responsibility, not a weapon.\n\n---\n\nAntioch does not belong to Jose Martinez. The businesses do not belong to Jose Martinez. The political process does not belong to Jose Martinez.\n\n**It belongs to the people.**",

"content_text": "A young female conservative journalist was violently assaulted by an unhinged mob of anti-ICE extremists at the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis. TPUSA reporter Savanah Hernandez was surrounded, harassed, and beaten while covering a National F*** ICE demonstration.",
"content_html": "**MINNEAPOLIS, MN** - If you want to know what the modern radical Left really looks like, look no further than the Whipple Federal Building in Minnesota this past weekend. In a scene that perfectly encapsulates the absolute freak show of today's progressive activist base, a young, female conservative journalist was violently assaulted by an unhinged mob of anti-ICE extremists who literally armed themselves with rubber dildos.\n\nYes, you read that right.\n\nWhile the mainstream media works overtime to paint left-wing agitators as \"mostly peaceful\" champions of human rights, the reality on the ground is far darker and far more degenerate.\n\n\n\nTurning Point USA (TPUSA) investigative reporter Savanah Hernandez was merely doing her job, covering a \"National F*** ICE\" demonstration, when she was surrounded, harassed, and brutally beaten by Antifa-aligned militants. But the mob didn't just use their fists. Video footage of the sickening attack shows the left-wing protesters waving rubber dildos in Hernandez's face, aggressively blowing whistles in her ears, and hitting her with the crude sex toys before forcefully tackling her to the concrete.\n\n> \"As you can see these people come up to me multiple times, put dildos in my face, body check me, punch me and push me down,\" Hernandez stated, adding that her attackers openly chanted that they were Antifa.\n\nThis wasn't an isolated tactic, either. The violent display in Minneapolis was reportedly part of a coordinated, nationwide leftist stunt dubbed \"Operation Dildo Blitz,\" where deranged open-borders activists in cities from Los Angeles to Chicago decorated federal fences with sex toys and hurled them at police.\n\n\n\n## The Suspects and the Federal Probe\n\nLocal authorities have identified a \"family\" of agitators at the center of the melee. Video shows a woman, identified as Deyanna Ostroushko, waving a rubber phallus in Hernandez's face while her daughter, Paige, stalked the reporter, blowing a whistle directly into her ear. When Hernandez tried to retreat, the mob pressed in, and Paige struck her, shoving her to the ground. Moments later, the family patriarch, Chris Ostroushko, aggressively shoved Hernandez to the pavement yet again, hitting her so hard she reported waking up the next day with a stiff neck and a headache.\n\n\n\nBut this degenerate mob is about to find out that actions have consequences.\n\nWhile the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office has confirmed local charges are coming for the attackers, the federal government is now stepping in. Following immense pressure from conservative legal advocates, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon confirmed that the Department of Justice and the FBI have officially opened a federal criminal investigation into the assault.\n\nMike Davis of the Article III Project pulled no punches in his assessment of the attack, demanding federal charges and thanking the FBI for launching the probe. Davis rightly pointed out that the woman who hit Hernandez in the face with a sex toy \"must face sexual assault charges\" and be forced to \"register as a sex offender\".\n\n\n\n## Media Hypocrisy at its Finest\n\nAsk yourself this: If a mob of MAGA conservatives surrounded a female CNN reporter, screamed profanities at her, shoved rubber dildos in her face, and beat her to the ground, what would the headlines look like today?\n\nIt would be the lead story on every major network for the next six months. There would be congressional hearings. Top Democrat leaders like Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would be giving breathless prime-time speeches about the \"threat to democracy,\" while Chuck Schumer demanded sweeping new federal task forces to investigate conservative groups.\n\nInstead, because the victim is a conservative woman and the attackers are foot soldiers for the left's open-borders agenda, the establishment media is completely silent. They are deliberately covering up the disturbing reality that the radical activist base has devolved into a violent, degenerate mob that uses sexual degradation and physical violence to silence political dissenters.\n\n---\n\nThe Left has lost its mind, and this weekend's dildo-wielding assault proves it. But conservative journalists like Savanah Hernandez are exposing their true colors to the world and refusing to back down.",

Authorities have charged Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez with concealment of a death, abuse of a corpse, and obstruction of justice.\n\nFor many residents, the case has become a broader symbol of concern about whether current systems are effectively protecting the public.\n\n---\n\n## Focus on Leadership and Messaging\n\nAt the center of the discussion are Lake County State's Attorney **Eric Rinehart** and Sheriff **John Idleburg**, both of whom have supported reform-oriented approaches to criminal justice in recent years.\n\nRinehart has been a vocal supporter of Illinois' SAFE-T Act and other reforms aimed at reducing reliance on cash bail and addressing disparities in the justice system. Idleburg has emphasized community-based policing, interagency collaboration, and programs focused on mental health and prevention.\n\nHowever, recent public messaging from the State's Attorney's Office has also drawn criticism from some residents who argue that leadership is placing emphasis on social awareness campaigns and public statements while communities are demanding a stronger, more visible focus on crime and enforcement.\n\n---\n\n## Public Reaction to Priorities\n\nA recent post from the State's Attorney's Office highlighting International Transgender Day of Visibility has become part of that broader conversation.\n\n\n\nWhile the post emphasized dignity, fairness, and equal access to justice, some residents say the timing underscores what they see as a disconnect between messaging and the immediate concerns facing the community.\n\nCritics argue that, in the wake of high-profile cases like Bos's, leadership should be more visibly focused on public safety, crime prevention, and accountability.\n\nSupporters of the office counter that promoting equal treatment under the law and addressing community issues are also part of the broader mission of justice.\n\n---\n\n## Public Safety Concerns Gain Momentum\n\nThe Bos case has intensified those concerns.\n\nSome residents are questioning whether current policies—including the **SAFE-T Act**, the **Illinois Trust Act**, and sanctuary-related practices—have created gaps in enforcement or reduced accountability.\n\nWhile there is no official determination directly linking those policies to this case, the perception that public safety is not the top priority is becoming a central issue in local discussions.\n\n---\n\n## Sheriff's Race Brings Contrast Into Focus\n\nThe debate is also shaping the upcoming sheriff's race, where **Roman Buchberger** has emerged as a candidate emphasizing a more proactive law enforcement approach.\n\n\n\nBuchberger, a longtime law enforcement officer in Lake County, has centered his campaign on increasing patrol presence, rebuilding staffing levels, and focusing on prevention rather than response.\n\nHe has publicly stated that law enforcement in the county has become *\"reactive and disconnected,\"* a message that appears to be resonating with voters concerned about safety.\n\n---\n\n## Differing Visions of Public Safety\n\nThe discussion now reflects two broader approaches:\n\n- **A reform-focused model** emphasizing fairness, reduced incarceration, and systemic change\n- **A more enforcement-focused model** prioritizing deterrence, visibility, and proactive policing\n\nRecent events—and the response to them—have brought renewed urgency to that debate.\n\n---\n\n## Community at a Crossroads\n\nFor families affected by violent crime, the conversation is deeply personal.\n\nThe Bos case, along with other recent incidents, has heightened calls for accountability, transparency, and a renewed focus on public safety outcomes.\n\nAs the sheriff's race approaches and policy discussions continue, Lake County residents are increasingly weighing what kind of leadership and approach they believe will best protect their communities.\n\n---\n\n## Looking Ahead\n\nWith public attention intensifying, local officials and candidates alike are likely to face continued scrutiny over both their policies and their priorities.\n\nFor many in Lake County, the central question remains:\n\n**What approach will best ensure safety—and prevent tragedies like this from happening again?**\n\n---\n\n## ✍️ Why You Should Sign the Petition\n\nThis isn't about politics. It's about a young woman who was stuffed in a garbage can—and a system that too many residents believe has stopped putting public safety first.\n\nHere's why your signature matters:\n\n- **Demand accountability** — Elected officials work for *you*. When leadership prioritizes social messaging over public safety, the people have every right to push back.\n- **Send a message on the SAFE-T Act** — Residents across Lake County are questioning whether reforms have gone too far. Your signature tells Springfield that real people are paying the price.\n- **Stand up for victims like Megan Bos** — Her family deserves to know that the community won't let this be swept aside. Every signature is a voice saying *\"We haven't forgotten.\"*\n- **Support proactive policing** — Whether it's the sheriff's race or the State's Attorney's office, your signature signals that Lake County voters want leaders who put enforcement and prevention first.\n- **Make your voice heard before Election Day** — Petitions drive media coverage, shape campaigns, and put pressure on incumbents. This is how everyday citizens change the conversation.\n\n**One signature. One minute. One message: Public safety comes first.**\n\n**[✍️ Sign the Petition — Demand Accountability](https://c.org/TWQk4FNjJ2)**",

"content_html": "## The Death of Sheridan Gorman and the Cost of Illinois' Sanctuary State\n\n*By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco | MickeyX3.com*\n\n---\n\nHer name was **Sheridan Gorman**.\n\nShe was 18 years old.\n\nLet that sit for a second.\n\n**Eighteen.**\n\nJust getting started. Just stepping into life. A freshman at Loyola University Chicago, studying business, building a future that was wide open in front of her.\n\nShe wasn't a statistic.\n\nShe wasn't a headline.\n\nShe was someone's daughter.\n\nAnd she is dead because the State of Illinois — under the leadership of **Governor JB Pritzker** and Illinois Democrats — decided that protecting illegal immigrants was more important than protecting its own citizens.\n\n---\n\n## Who She Was\n\nSheridan wasn't just another college student.\n\nHer family described her as kind, funny, and full of life. The type of person who made others feel important. The kind of young woman people gravitated toward because she made the world around her better.\n\nThe kind of kid every parent hopes to raise.\n\nThe kind of kid every parent believes will outlive them.\n\n---\n\n## Her Parents' Nightmare\n\nHer parents, Tom and Jessica Gorman, are now living something no parent should ever have to endure.\n\nThere are no words for it.\n\nYou raise a child. You protect them. You guide them. You watch them grow into who they're becoming.\n\nAnd then one day… they're just gone.\n\nNot from sickness. Not from something you can prepare for.\n\n**Gone in an instant.**\n\n---\n\n## The Night Everything Changed\n\nSheridan was doing what any 18-year-old does.\n\nShe was out with friends.\n\nThey went to the lakefront to look at the northern lights. Think about that. A group of kids standing by the water, looking up at the sky, just trying to experience something beautiful.\n\nAnd in a moment, everything was taken from her.\n\n**Gunfire.**\n\n**Chaos.**\n\nSheridan was shot in the head.\n\nAnd just like that… her life was over.\n\n---\n\n## What Was Stolen\n\nNot just her life.\n\n**Everything.**\n\nThe career she was working toward.\n\nThe family she might have had.\n\nThe birthdays. The holidays. The future her parents dreamed of.\n\n**Gone.**\n\nThere is now an empty chair at her family's table that will never be filled again.\n\nThat is what this means.\n\n---\n\n## The Sanctuary State That Made This Possible\n\nLet's talk about how we got here.\n\n**JB Pritzker** and Illinois Democrats built this. Brick by brick. Law by law. Executive order by executive order.\n\nThey turned Illinois into a **sanctuary state** — a place where illegal immigrants are shielded from federal law enforcement, where local police are **forbidden** from cooperating with ICE, and where people who should have been detained and deported are instead **released back into our communities.**\n\nThe **Illinois TRUST Act** and the **Illinois Way Forward Act** were designed to do one thing: **protect illegal immigrants from deportation.** Not protect citizens. Not protect families. Not protect 18-year-old girls looking at the northern lights.\n\nProtect the people who shouldn't be here in the first place.\n\nPritzker signed these laws. Illinois Democrats cheered. And the consequences? Those get paid by people like Sheridan Gorman and her family.\n\n---\n\n## Catch and Release: The Illinois Way\n\nThis is the system Illinois Democrats built:\n\n- An illegal immigrant gets arrested.\n- Local law enforcement is **prohibited** from honoring ICE detainers.\n- The individual is **released back onto the streets.**\n- They reoffend.\n- Someone else pays the price.\n\nThis isn't hypothetical. This is happening **right now**, across Illinois, in Chicago, in the suburbs, in communities just like yours.\n\nDangerous individuals who should have been deported are walking free because **JB Pritzker and his Democrat allies in Springfield** decided that virtue signaling matters more than public safety.\n\nThey made a choice. And Sheridan Gorman paid for it.\n\n---\n\n## This Hits Close to Home\n\nAnd for those of us here in Antioch, this isn't some distant tragedy we watch on the news.\n\nWe've already lived it.\n\nWe lost Megan Bos.\n\nI've gotten to know her mother since then, and I've seen firsthand what something like this does to a family. The grief doesn't fade. The pain doesn't go away. It just becomes something they carry every single day for the rest of their lives.\n\nNo family should have to live like that.\n\n**Not one.**\n\nBut as long as JB Pritzker's sanctuary state stands, more families will.\n\n---\n\n## The Blood Is on Their Hands\n\nLet me be clear about something.\n\nThe person who pulled the trigger is responsible for Sheridan's death.\n\nBut the **system that allowed it to happen** — the sanctuary laws, the catch-and-release policies, the refusal to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement — that system was built by **JB Pritzker and Illinois Democrats.**\n\nThey don't get to wash their hands of this.\n\nThey don't get to send \"thoughts and prayers\" and move on.\n\nThey created the conditions. They passed the laws. They blocked enforcement.\n\n**They own this.**\n\n---\n\n## Enough Is Enough\n\nI'm a Republican Committeeman in Antioch, Illinois.\n\nBut more importantly, I'm a father with kids her age.\n\nAnd that's what makes this impossible to ignore.\n\nBecause when I read this story, I don't just see Sheridan.\n\nI see my own kids.\n\nI see your kids.\n\nAnd I see a political machine — led by Pritzker and funded by Democrat special interests — that keeps choosing illegal immigrants over American citizens.\n\nThere is no excuse for this.\n\n**None.**\n\n---\n\n## She Should Still Be Here\n\nThat's the part no one can get around.\n\n**Sheridan Gorman should still be here.**\n\nLiving her life. Going to class. Laughing with her friends. Calling her parents.\n\nInstead, her name is now something we say in past tense — because JB Pritzker's Illinois decided protecting illegal immigrants was more important than protecting her.\n\nAnd that should shake every single one of us.\n\n---\n\n## What Are We Going To Do About It?\n\nHow many times do we read stories like this before we say enough?\n\nHow many families have to be destroyed before someone is held accountable?\n\nHow many more kids have to die before Illinois repeals its sanctuary state laws?\n\nBecause if we do nothing…\n\nIf we let Pritzker and the Democrats keep running this state into the ground…\n\nThis happens again.\n\nAnd again.\n\nAnd again.\n\n**[Sign the petition to impeach JB Pritzker →](https://www.change.org/p/open-an-impeachment-inquiry-into-governor-jb-pritzker)**\n\n---\n\n## Remember Her Name\n\nNot as a headline.\n\nNot as a statistic.\n\nBut as a reminder of what happens when politicians choose ideology over safety. When they choose illegal immigrants over their own citizens. When they choose power over people.\n\n**Sheridan Gorman was 18 years old.**\n\n**She had her entire life ahead of her.**\n\n**And she should still be here.**\n\n**Demand accountability. Demand change. Demand better.**",

"content_html": "## If Illinois had a functioning political system, this sanctuary-state disaster would already be enough to put the governor on trial in the House\n\n**By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco | MickeyX3.com**\n\nHow many more innocent people have to pay the price before somebody in this state grows a spine?\n\nAn 18-year-old Loyola University Chicago student, Sheridan Gorman, is dead. Chicago police charged Jose Medina-Medina with first-degree murder in the case. DHS says Medina-Medina is a Venezuelan national who entered the United States near El Paso in May 2023, was apprehended by Border Patrol, released into the country, later arrested by Chicago police for retail theft in February 2025, and released again before being charged in Gorman's killing. ICE has since lodged a detainer and publicly asked Illinois officials and Chicago sanctuary politicians not to release him.\n\nAt some point, this stops being just another outrage story and becomes what it really is: a screaming indictment of the political class running Illinois.\n\nAnd that means JB Pritzker.\n\nIf Illinois had a serious legislature instead of a rubber-stamp protection racket for Democrat power, there would already be members of the House preparing articles of impeachment. Not because impeachment is easy. Not because it is guaranteed. But because when a governor presides over a state that openly wraps itself in sanctuary-state politics while public safety keeps taking hit after hit, the people of Illinois have every right to demand the highest level of accountability. Illinois' Constitution gives the House the sole power to investigate for impeachment and, by a majority vote of the members elected, to impeach executive officers; the Senate then tries the case, and when the Governor is tried, the Chief Justice presides.\n\nThat is not rhetoric. That is the constitutional process.\n\nThe Illinois Constitution says the House can impeach executive officers by majority vote, and the Senate conducts the trial.\n\nSo here is the question: **if not now, when?**\n\nWhat is impeachment for, if not confronting catastrophic leadership failure at the highest level?\n\nBecause this is not just about one crime. It is about the climate Pritzker helped build and defend. Illinois has spent years embracing a sanctuary-state posture. The TRUST Act limits how state and local law enforcement can participate in civil immigration enforcement, and that framework has become part of the state's political identity.\n\nPritzker and his allies want this treated like a random tragedy disconnected from everything else. They want the public to believe the policies have nothing to do with the outcomes. They want you to shut up, lower your eyes, and keep pretending the people in charge are compassionate visionaries instead of reckless ideologues playing games with public safety.\n\nNo.\n\n**Enough.**\n\nCaught and released.\nArrested and released.\nThen an 18-year-old girl is dead.\n\nAnd the governor of Illinois wants no real political ownership of the climate that made this kind of failure possible?\n\nTo hell with that.\n\nThis is why people are so sick of Illinois Democrats. Nothing is ever their fault. Every disaster is just \"complicated.\" Every failure is somebody else's responsibility. Every warning from normal citizens gets dismissed as hysteria right up until another family gets destroyed, and then suddenly everybody in power wants to look somber and thoughtful while changing absolutely nothing.\n\nThat is not leadership.\n\n**That is rot.**\n\nJB Pritzker is not just some bystander watching events unfold. He is the governor of the state. He is the face of the system. He is the one who benefits politically from Illinois' left-wing posture on immigration and enforcement. He is the one who presides over the state apparatus. He is the one whose party dominates the machinery. And when DHS is publicly urging Illinois officials and Chicago sanctuary politicians not to release the accused in a murder case like this, it is impossible to pretend there is no larger governing failure here.\n\nSo yes, Illinois lawmakers should begin impeachment inquiry proceedings.\n\nLet the facts be aired. Let the policies be examined. Let the state's leadership answer, under oath and in public, for the climate they created. Let the people of Illinois see who still has the guts to put public safety ahead of partisan protection.\n\nThat is what an impeachment process is for.\n\nNow, to be clear, impeachment in Illinois is a constitutional mechanism, not a slogan. The House would need a majority vote to impeach, and the Senate would then try the case.\n\nBut politically and morally, the case for opening that process is obvious.\n\nWhat exactly is the threshold for consequences in this state?\n\nHow much failure is enough? How much chaos is enough? How many grieving families are enough? How many times do citizens have to hear that enforcement is cruel, borders are secondary, and sanctuary posturing is somehow enlightened before somebody in office pays a real price?\n\n**Sheridan Gorman should be alive.**\n\nThat simple fact is what should haunt every elected official in Illinois.\n\nAnd if JB Pritzker still wants to posture as some polished national Democrat while the people of his own state live with the consequences of the system he oversees, then the Illinois House should force the issue in the most serious way available under the Constitution.\n\n**Impeach him.**\n\nPut every lawmaker on the record. Make them choose. Either stand with the people of Illinois and demand answers, or stand with the governor and the sanctuary-state machine that keeps dragging this state deeper into disgrace.\n\nNo more evasions. No more polished excuses. No more press-release compassion from the people who helped build the problem.\n\nIf Illinois had any political courage left, impeachment would not be a fringe idea.\n\nIt would already be underway.",

"content_html": "## JB Pritzker and Brandon Johnson keep selling Illinois as a safe haven. Safe for who?\n\n**By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco | MickeyX3.com**\n\nSheridan Gorman was 18 years old.\n\nShe was a Loyola student with her whole life in front of her, and now she is dead after being shot near Loyola University Chicago's Lake Shore campus. Chicago police have charged 25-year-old Jose Medina-Medina with first-degree murder in the case, and local reporting says the victim was not believed to be the intended target.\n\nNow comes the part that should send rage through every parent, every taxpayer, and every citizen in Illinois.\n\nAccording to the Department of Homeland Security, the man charged in Sheridan Gorman's murder is a Venezuelan national who entered the United States in May 2023 near El Paso, Texas, was apprehended by Border Patrol, and was then released into the country. DHS also says he was later arrested by the Chicago Police Department for retail theft in February 2025 and released again. After the murder charge, ICE lodged an arrest detainer and publicly called on Governor JB Pritzker and Chicago sanctuary politicians not to release him.\n\nRead that again.\n\nCaught and released.\nArrested and released.\nThen an 18-year-old college girl ends up dead.\n\nAnd Illinois Democrats still expect the public to pretend this has nothing to do with policy.\n\n**That is a lie.**\n\nThis has everything to do with policy. It has everything to do with ideology. It has everything to do with a political class that decided immigration enforcement was somehow cruel, local cooperation with federal authorities was somehow immoral, and public safety had to take a back seat to left-wing virtue signaling.\n\nJB Pritzker has spent years defending Illinois' sanctuary posture, including pointing to the bipartisan TRUST Act as part of that framework, and his own office in 2025 blasted federal immigration enforcement efforts while defending Illinois law and state policy. Brandon Johnson has also aligned Chicago with sanctuary politics and the same failed worldview that treats immigration enforcement like a public relations problem instead of a survival issue for the people forced to live with the consequences.\n\nAnd now here we are.\n\nA dead student.\nA grieving family.\nA city once again forced to look at a horror that never had to happen.\n\nAnd the people who made this mess still hiding behind slogans.\n\nSpare us the press conference garbage. Spare us the fake tears. Spare us the polished little statements about \"complex issues\" and \"compassion.\" There is nothing compassionate about building a system where dangerous people are allowed to slip through crack after crack after crack until someone innocent pays for it with her life.\n\nSheridan Gorman is not dead because the system lacked warnings. She is dead, based on what DHS and local reporting say so far, because the people running this state and this city created a climate where enforcement is weak, cooperation is demonized, and the public is expected to shut up while the political class plays moral dress-up.\n\n### This is the sanctuary state scam in plain English.\n\nThey tell you sanctuary policies are about trust.\nThey tell you they are about fairness.\nThey tell you they are about keeping families together.\n\nWhat they do not tell you is that these policies create a political culture where protecting the system matters more than protecting actual people.\n\nAnd that culture has names attached to it.\n\nJB Pritzker.\nBrandon Johnson.\nEvery Illinois Democrat who treats border enforcement as beneath them.\nEvery Chicago official who acts like ICE is the real enemy.\nEvery activist clown who screams about \"humanity\" right up until an American family is burying a child.\n\nThis is what pisses normal people off so much. It is not just the crime. It is the arrogance afterward. It is the absolute shamelessness of leaders who never seem to absorb a damn lesson no matter how many bodies pile up under the weight of their failures.\n\nThey never reverse course.\nThey never admit they were wrong.\nThey never say enough.\nThey just double down and call you a bigot for noticing the pattern.\n\n**Well here is the pattern.**\n\nA border that was treated like a joke.\nA sanctuary state that treats federal immigration enforcement like a nuisance.\nA sanctuary city that treats tough enforcement like bad optics.\nAnd a young woman who is now gone forever.\n\n**Illinois Democrats own this climate.**\n\nThey may not like hearing it. Too bad.\n\nWhen DHS is publicly asking Pritzker and Chicago sanctuary politicians not to release a murder suspect, that is not some random conservative talking point. That is the federal government openly warning Illinois leadership in public because the reputation of this state is now so warped by sanctuary politics that the warning had to be said out loud.\n\nThat should humiliate every Democrat running this state.\n\nInstead, they will probably do what they always do. They will dodge. They will spin. They will try to change the subject. They will blame Republicans. They will blame Trump. They will blame the weather if they have to. Anything but the policies they built and the ideology they worship.\n\nBut Illinois families are not stupid.\nParents sending their kids to school in Chicago are not stupid.\nPeople riding the train are not stupid.\nPeople watching neighborhoods slide are not stupid.\nPeople seeing the same story over and over again are not stupid.\n\nThey know what this is.\n\nThis is what happens when government stops acting like its first job is to protect its own people.\n\nThis is what happens when leadership gets captured by activists, nonprofits, consultants, and professional liars who will never personally pay the price for the chaos they create.\n\nThis is what happens when Democrats like JB Pritzker and Brandon Johnson would rather be applauded by the national left than defend the people of Illinois.\n\n**Sheridan Gorman deserved better.**\nHer family deserved better.\nAnd the people of Illinois deserve better than being governed by leaders who turned this state into a billboard for failed sanctuary politics.\n\nEnd the sanctuary garbage.\nHonor ICE detainers.\nRestore cooperation with immigration enforcement.\nStop treating public safety like a side issue.\nAnd stop electing Democrats who think law and order is some outdated inconvenience.\n\nBecause this is no longer theoretical.\nThis is no longer abstract.\nThis is no longer somebody else's problem.\n\n**An 18-year-old girl is dead.**\n\nAnd Illinois Democrats need to wear that.",

"title": "Anne Stava-Murray's Ammo Bill Is Peak Illinois Insanity",
"content_text": "Another tax. Another registry. Another Democrat attack on normal people. HB4414 would require serialization of handgun ammunition, create a centralized Illinois State Police registry, and impose end-user fees of up to 5 cents per round.",
"content_html": "## Another tax. Another registry. Another Democrat attack on normal people.\n\n**By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco | MickeyX3.com**\n\nJust when you think Illinois Democrats have run out of stupid ideas, they kick the door in with another one.\n\nThis time it is HB4414, pushed by Democrat State Rep. Anne Stava-Murray, and it is exactly the kind of bloated, anti-freedom, anti-working-class garbage you would expect from the same political machine that taxes everything, regulates everything, and treats law-abiding citizens like suspects. According to the bill text, it would require serialization of handgun ammunition, create a centralized Illinois State Police registry of ammunition transactions, and allow the state to impose end-user fees of up to 5 cents per round or per bullet.\n\nLet that sink in.\n\nThese people do not just want to tax your property, your gas, your groceries, your business, your paycheck, and your future. Now they want to track your ammo too.\n\nNot criminals' ammo.\nNot gangbangers' ammo.\nNot the thugs terrorizing neighborhoods they already failed to protect.\n\n**Your ammo.**\n\nBecause in the mind of the Illinois liberal ruling class, the real problem is never the criminal. It is always the citizen who still thinks he has rights.\n\nUnder HB4414, Illinois State Police would be tasked with maintaining a centralized registry of handgun ammunition transaction reports beginning January 1, 2027, and vendors would have to report buyer information and the unique identifier for the ammunition transferred. The bill also authorizes rules for collecting a fee of up to 5 cents per round to fund the infrastructure, implementation, operations, enforcement, and future development of the system.\n\nSo let's call this what it is.\n\nThis is not \"public safety.\"\nThis is not \"common sense.\"\nThis is not \"balanced.\"\n\n**This is government creep mixed with Democrat control freak behavior.**\n\nIt is a tax scheme wrapped in a surveillance scheme, dressed up as safety by people who never seem to have any answers for the actual violent criminals wrecking this state.\n\nAnd it gets even more ridiculous.\n\nThe bill defines \"serialized handgun ammunition\" broadly enough to include handgun ammunition, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition, assembled handgun ammunition packaged for retail sale, and bullets used for reloading or handloading handgun ammunition that are packaged for retail sale.\n\nSo this is not some narrow tweak. This is a giant bureaucratic mess aimed at building a paper trail around lawful ammunition purchases in Illinois.\n\n**Think about who gets hit by this.**\n\nThe single mom who wants a firearm for home defense.\nThe working guy who goes to the range on weekends.\nThe hunter.\nThe concealed carry holder.\nThe retiree who just wants to protect his family.\nThe honest gun shop owner already drowning in regulations.\n\nThe criminals? They will do what criminals always do. They will ignore the law, buy on the black market, steal what they want, and keep on being criminals.\n\nThat is the part Illinois Democrats never seem able to understand.\n\nYou do not stop bad people by harassing good people.\nYou do not lower crime by building a database of lawful buyers.\nYou do not make families safer by making self-defense more expensive.\n**You do not protect rights by taxing them.**\n\nAnd yes, that matters. Because once government starts putting a special tax and tracking regime on something tied directly to a constitutional right, people have every reason to ask whether the point is safety or suppression. The bill text itself says the fee would exist to fund the system's infrastructure, implementation, enforcement, and future development.\n\nIn other words, they want you to help pay for the machine they are building to monitor you.\n\nThat is so perfectly Illinois it almost deserves an award.\n\nAs for the mastermind behind this nonsense, Anne Stava-Murray represents the 81st District and has served in the Illinois House since 2019. Her official member page lists her district office in Downers Grove.\n\n### The Bigger Issue\n\nThis bill shows the Illinois Democrat mindset in its purest form. They cannot govern competently, so they compensate by controlling obsessively. They cannot fix crime, so they harass compliance. They cannot inspire trust, so they build registries. They cannot defend freedom, so they tax it.\n\nThey always come for the people who follow the rules because those are the only people easy to squeeze.\n\nThat is why so many Illinois residents are sick of this state. It is death by a thousand paper cuts. A fee here. A permit there. A registry here. A mandate there. Every year, another little piece of freedom gets carved off by people who think government should sit on your shoulder and breathe down your neck from cradle to grave.\n\n**HB4414 is not just another bad bill. It is a warning shot.**\n\nIf these people are willing to serialize ammo, track transactions, and charge citizens by the round, what do you think comes next?\n\nMore taxes.\nMore databases.\nMore restrictions.\nMore excuses.\nMore lectures from people protected by armed security while they make it harder and more expensive for you to protect yourself.\n\n**Enough.**\n\nIllinois does not need more liberal experiments cooked up by control addicts in Springfield. It needs lawmakers who trust citizens more than bureaucracies, punish criminals instead of profiling law-abiding gun owners, and understand that constitutional rights are not line items for a revenue scheme.\n\nHB4414 should be laughed out of the building, buried, and never brought back.\n\nBecause freedom is not a subscription service.\nSelf-defense is not a privilege for the wealthy.\nAnd law-abiding Illinoisans are done being treated like the enemy.\n\n**Kill this bill.**\n\nFor freedom.\nFor privacy.\nFor every honest gun owner in Illinois who is tired of being shaken down by a state that cannot do anything right except demand more.",

It's wrong. And it's killing this party.\n\n---\n\n## HERE IS THE TRUTH\n\nIllinois Republicans do not have a candidate problem.\n\n**They have an infrastructure problem.**\n\nThat's it.\n\nIf candidates were the deciding factor, Illinois would not look the way it does right now.\n\nElections today are not about who gave the best speech or who looked the best on TV.\n\nThey are about one thing.\n\n**Turnout.**\n\n---\n\n## DEMOCRATS BUILT A MACHINE\n\nWhile Republicans argue, Democrats operate.\n\n- They identify voters who barely pay attention to politics.\n- They contact them over and over.\n- They push early voting and mail ballots.\n- They track who voted and who didn't.\n- They follow up until the ballot is in.\n\nThey do not stop.\nThey do not guess.\n**They execute.**\n\nThat is why results are often decided before Election Day even arrives.\n\n---\n\n## REPUBLICANS ARE STILL PLAYING AN OLD GAME\n\nMeanwhile Republicans are stuck arguing about messaging, personalities, and who is \"electable.\"\n\nThat world is gone.\n\nIllinois now has an election season, not an election day.\n\nWeeks of voting. Treat this like a month long election, not a one day event.\n\n**Do the work. "content_html": "**The activist funding pipeline in Lake County deserves a full investigation**\n\n*By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco | MickeyX3.com*\n\nA shocking video showing the founder of Black Lives Matter Lake County in a physical fight with a female employee has sparked outrage across Lake County.\n\nBut the incident inside the organization's Waukegan office raises a much larger question.\n\nHow did a controversial activist with a long history of confrontations with police end up connected to an ecosystem that received hundreds of thousands of dollars in Illinois taxpayer money?\n\nAnd why are residents only learning about these funding connections now?\n\n## The latest controversy\n\nThis week reports surfaced showing Clyde McLemore, founder of Black Lives Matter Lake County, involved in a physical altercation with a female staff member at the organization's office.\n\nPolice responded to the scene after reports of a battery.\n\nAccording to statements given to police, the argument reportedly involved a dispute over money connected to the organization.\n\nFollowing the release of the video, McLemore said he plans to step down from his leadership role.\n\nBut this incident is only the latest controversy surrounding the activist.\n\n## A history of clashes with law enforcement\n\nIn 2020, during the violent unrest following the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, McLemore traveled to the city and participated in demonstrations that escalated into riots.\n\nProsecutors in Kenosha County charged him after an incident at the Kenosha Public Safety Building.\n\nAuthorities alleged McLemore kicked a door while officers were trying to secure the building and attempted to slam the door on an officer's hands, an act prosecutors said could have seriously injured the officer.\n\nHe faced felony and misdemeanor charges tied to the incident.\n\nTwo years later, McLemore was again arrested after refusing to leave a heated Waukegan City Council meeting, where police ultimately removed him and charged him with criminal trespass.\n\nThese repeated confrontations with law enforcement raise serious questions about the judgment of someone operating inside publicly funded community programs.\n\n## From activist to insider\n\nDespite these controversies, McLemore appeared in criminal justice policy discussions in Lake County.\n\nMeeting minutes from the Lake County Criminal Justice Citizen's Council show McLemore attending meetings alongside officials connected to:\n\n- the Lake County Sheriff's Office\n- the State's Attorney's Office\n- probation officials\n- other justice system stakeholders\n\nThere is no evidence he worked for the Lake County Sheriff's Office or held an official advisory role.\n\nBut his presence in these meetings demonstrates how activists increasingly entered policy discussions after the unrest of 2020.\n\n## The taxpayer funding trail\n\nThe funding connected to Black Lives Matter Lake County is far larger than most residents realize.\n\nPublic records show that in 2019, Lake County issued a small $300 payment to Black Lives Matter Lake County through a forfeiture fund.\n\nThat amount alone is minor.\n\nThe real money came from Springfield.\n\nState of Illinois grant records show Black Lives Matter Lake County received approximately $270,000 in ARPA-related violence prevention funding.\n\nAnother Illinois state grant database lists an additional $400,000 award for construction or renovation funding tied to the organization.\n\nCombined, these grants total roughly $670,000 in Illinois taxpayer money directed to the organization or programs connected to it.\n\nThat number should raise eyebrows across Lake County.\n\n\n\n## The Lake County violence-interruption system\n\nAt the same time state money was flowing, Lake County launched its own Gun Violence Prevention Initiative (GVPI).\n\nThe initiative was created with more than $1 million in combined county and state funding and funds programs designed to intervene in violent conflicts before they escalate.\n\nThese programs rely heavily on partnerships with community organizations.\n\nOne example is the Lake County Peacemakers program, which operates through a network of nonprofits and township fiscal agents.\n\nThe program has continued expanding and recently secured an additional $1 million federal grant to keep operating.\n\nThat means the broader violence-intervention ecosystem in Lake County now involves millions of taxpayer dollars flowing through various organizations.\n\n## Why taxpayers deserve answers\n\nPrograms like these are often presented as community-driven solutions to crime.\n\nBut they also create complicated funding networks involving:\n\n- government agencies\n- nonprofit organizations\n- activist groups\n- township fiscal agents\n- federal and state grant programs\n\nWhen those networks become complicated enough, accountability becomes difficult.\n\nAnd when organizations tied to controversial activists receive public funding, scrutiny becomes even more important.\n\n## The unanswered questions\n\nLake County residents deserve clear answers to several critical questions:\n\nWhat exactly was the purpose of the 2019 Lake County payment to Black Lives Matter Lake County?\n\nHow were the $270,000 and $400,000 Illinois state grants spent?\n\nDid any county violence-interruption programs contract with McLemore's organization?\n\nWhich nonprofits received sub-awards tied to Lake County's violence prevention programs?\n\nWhat oversight exists to ensure taxpayer money is used properly?\n\nAnd what measurable results have these programs actually produced?\n\n## Follow the money\n\nThe controversy surrounding Clyde McLemore should serve as a wake-up call.\n\nThe issue is not just one activist.\n\nIt is the broader system that emerged after 2020, where political activism, government programs, and taxpayer funding became intertwined.\n\nLake County residents deserve transparency about where their money went and who benefited from these programs.\n\nBecause when nearly $700,000 in state funding and millions more in violence-prevention programs are involved, taxpayers should not be left in the dark.\n\nThey deserve the full paper trail.",

"content_html": "When Kristi Noem raised her right hand before the Senate Judiciary Committee, she carried something more than prepared testimony into that room.\n\nOn her wrist was a purple bracelet given to her by Jennifer Bos, the mother of Megan Bos.\n\nJennifer Bos was in attendance at that hearing. A mother who has spent months reliving the worst moment of her life. And as Secretary Noem swore under oath, Megan's memory was visible for the entire chamber to see.\n\nThat bracelet was not an accessory.\n\nIt was a statement.\n\n## What Happened to Megan Bos\n\nMegan Bos was 37 years old. She was from Antioch, Illinois.\n\nIn March 2025, Megan was reported missing. Her family searched for answers. Weeks later, in April 2025, her body was discovered behind a residence in Waukegan.\n\nShe was found inside a garbage container.\n\nFederal officials later described the container as bleach-filled.\n\nA 52-year-old Waukegan man, Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez, was arrested and charged with concealment of a death, abuse of a corpse, and obstruction of justice.\n\nAccording to law enforcement statements, he told investigators Megan overdosed at his residence. Authorities allege that instead of calling 911, he kept her body in the home and later placed it inside the container outside, where it remained for weeks.\n\nThe Lake County Coroner has stated that the official cause of death remains undetermined pending final investigation.\n\nThose are the confirmed facts.\n\n## The Controversy\n\nUnder Illinois' SAFE-T Act framework, prosecutors stated the charges filed were not detention-eligible offenses. The defendant was released under pretrial conditions.\n\nThat decision sparked outrage locally and nationally.\n\nShortly after his release, federal immigration authorities took him into custody. DHS publicly confirmed the arrest.\n\nFor Jennifer Bos, none of that changes the reality.\n\nHer daughter is gone.\n\nAnd she believes the system failed her child.\n\n## A Mother's Mission\n\nJennifer Bos has spoken publicly about Megan's life, her struggles, and the accountability she believes is owed. She has fought to make sure Megan's story is not buried beneath procedure or politics.\n\nThe purple bracelet has become a symbol of that fight.\n\nIt represents remembrance. It represents grief. It represents a mother refusing to let her daughter become a statistic.\n\nSo when Secretary Noem chose to wear that bracelet while being sworn in, it carried weight.\n\nIt told Jennifer Bos that Megan's name had not been forgotten.\n\nIt told the country that victims matter.\n\n## Why It Matters\n\nWashington is loud. Hearings are political. Cameras move on quickly.\n\nBut that morning, a grieving mother sat in that room.\n\nAnd on the wrist of a cabinet secretary was a reminder of a 37-year-old woman from Antioch whose body was found in a garbage container behind a home in Waukegan.\n\nMegan Bos should still be here.\n\nInstead, her family is left with questions, with grief, and with a purple bracelet that now carries her memory into places of power.\n\nNot as a headline.\n\nNot as a talking point.\n\nBut as a daughter.\n\n**Say her name.**\n\n**Megan Bos.** đź’ś",

"content_text": "There is a machine operating in this country. It is organized. It is funded. It is disciplined. And it is working its way into your town while most conservatives are busy arguing online.",
"content_html": "**By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco**\n*Founder, MickeyX3.com*\n\nStop pretending this is random.\n\nIt is not random.\n\nThere is a machine operating in this country. It is organized. It is funded. It is disciplined. And it is working its way into your town while most conservatives are busy arguing online.\n\nYou want a bad guy?\n\nIt is not one person.\n\nIt is a network.\n\nLet's name it.\n\n## The Street Level: Indivisible\n\nAt the street level you have organizations like Indivisible. Thousands of local chapters. Playbooks. Messaging guides. Coordinated pressure campaigns. They specialize in flooding town halls, targeting lawmakers, and mobilizing turnout in state and local races. They frame it as \"defending democracy.\" What they are doing is building permanent progressive pressure infrastructure in communities that never voted for it.\n\n## The Political Wing: Democratic Socialists of America\n\nThen you have Democratic Socialists of America. This is not some loose college club. This is the largest socialist organization in the United States. Chapters in all 50 states. Organized endorsements. Coordinated campaigns. Candidates placed in local races. They openly advocate democratic socialism. They are not hiding it. It is in their name.\n\n## The Ideological Edge: Party for Socialism and Liberation\n\nAt the ideological edge you have Party for Socialism and Liberation. They do not want reform. They want transformation. They advocate replacing capitalism. They run candidates. They organize protests. They plug into coalition movements that show up city after city under different banners.\n\n## The Funding Pipeline: Sixteen Thirty Fund\n\nAnd above them, fueling the battlefield, you have funding infrastructure like the Sixteen Thirty Fund. Massive spending on ballot measures. Multi-state policy pushes. Advocacy campaigns that appear everywhere at once. When the same messaging hits five states simultaneously, that is not organic outrage. That is coordinated funding.\n\n## This is the Machine\n\nStreet muscle.\n\nPolitical organizing.\n\nFunding pipelines.\n\nThree layers. One direction.\n\n**Left.**\n\n## Why This Matters\n\nThese groups do not focus only on presidential elections. That is amateur hour.\n\nThey focus on school boards.\n\nThey focus on judicial retention votes.\n\nThey focus on zoning commissions.\n\nThey focus on ballot initiatives written in language designed to confuse casual voters.\n\nThey live in low-turnout elections. That is their playground.\n\nYou know what wins a school board race?\n\nThree hundred votes.\n\nYou know what flips a county board?\n\nFour hundred disciplined voters.\n\nWhile conservatives rage about national politics, this network quietly stacks local wins.\n\nThat is how culture changes.\n\nNot with one revolution.\n\nWith a thousand small captures.\n\n## The Uncomfortable Truth\n\nLet's be honest.\n\nThey believe they are saving the country.\n\nThey believe they are advancing justice.\n\nThey believe capitalism is broken and needs replacement.\n\nThat belief makes them dangerous politically.\n\nBecause they are patient.\n\nThey think in five-year increments.\n\nThey build leadership pipelines.\n\nThey train activists.\n\nThey normalize their ideas inside institutions.\n\nMeanwhile, too many conservatives are reactive instead of strategic.\n\nSo if you want a villain, here it is.\n\nIt is the organized, funded, patient progressive infrastructure that understands local politics better than you do.\n\nIt is the chapter model.\n\nIt is the ballot initiative machine.\n\nIt is the funding hub that can write checks across state lines.\n\nIt is not loud. It is disciplined.\n\n## The Only Reason They Win\n\nThe only reason they win locally is because conservatives do not show up consistently.\n\nThat is it.\n\nNot magic. Not conspiracy.\n\nDiscipline.\n\n## How to Fight Back\n\nSo if you want to fight back, stop thinking in presidential cycles.\n\nStart thinking in school board cycles.\n\nBuild your own chapter.\n\nBuild your own voter list.\n\nLock in 25 reliable voters.\n\nRecruit candidates early.\n\nFund monthly, not emotionally.\n\nShow up every single time.\n\nDo not out-rage them.\n\n**Out-organize them.**\n\nBecause the left's takeover machine is not unstoppable.\n\nIt is simply better structured right now.\n\nAnd structure beats passion every time.\n\nThe question is not whether they are organized.\n\nThey are.\n\nThe question is whether we are finally willing to be just as serious.\n\n*Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*\n*Founder, MickeyX3.com*",

"title": "Illinois Republican Primary Preview: Mendrick and Dabrowski Offer a Stronger Path Than a Bailey Rematch or a Heidner Reinvention",
"content_text": "As Republicans across Illinois prepare to vote in the March 17 primary for governor, this is not just another routine nomination fight. This is a decision about strength, credibility and who can actually compete with Governor J.B. Pritzker in November.",
"content_html": "**By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco**\n\nAs Republicans across Illinois prepare to vote in the March 17 primary for governor, this is not just another routine nomination fight. This is a decision about strength, credibility and who can actually compete with Governor J.B. Pritzker in November.\n\nFour candidates are on the Republican ballot: DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick, policy analyst Ted Dabrowski, businessman Rick Heidner and former 2022 nominee Darren Bailey. All talk about taxes, crime and Springfield corruption. But records matter. Results matter. Electability matters.\n\n**Two candidates rise above the rest.**\n\n## James Mendrick: Proven Leadership, Real Backbone, Real Results\n\nSheriff James Mendrick is not a talking head. He is not a policy paper candidate. He is not a recycled politician looking for another shot.\n\nHe is a working executive who has actually run a major government operation.\n\nAs DuPage County Sheriff, Mendrick oversees one of the largest sheriff's departments in Illinois. He manages budgets, personnel and complex public safety operations. He has dealt firsthand with crime, fentanyl, financial fraud and the consequences of soft on crime policy.\n\nThat matters.\n\nIllinois families are tired of excuses. They want safety. They want accountability. They want someone who understands that government exists to protect citizens first.\n\nMendrick does not just criticize sanctuary policies. He has had to operate under them. He understands how state level decisions affect officers on the ground and communities in real time. His stance is not theoretical. It is practical and rooted in experience.\n\nHe also understands budgets. He has made it clear that Illinois does not have a revenue problem. It has a spending problem. That message resonates across suburban and downstate communities alike.\n\nMost importantly, Mendrick projects strength without chaos. Discipline without drama. Leadership without ego.\n\nFor Republicans who want a nominee who can unite the base, attract suburban voters and walk into a debate with Pritzker as a credible executive, Mendrick looks like the strongest contender in this field.\n\n## Ted Dabrowski: The Policy Blueprint Candidate\n\nTed Dabrowski brings a different strength. He brings depth.\n\nDabrowski has built his campaign around structural reform. Property tax caps. Spending limits. Regulatory relief. Economic growth driven by private sector confidence.\n\nHe speaks in specifics. He presents data. He understands Illinois' fiscal crisis in detail. For voters who want a thoughtful reformer with a long term plan, Dabrowski offers a serious alternative.\n\nIn a state where Republicans must regain ground in the suburbs, his analytical and reform focused message has real appeal.\n\n## Rick Heidner: Business Credentials and a Political Past\n\nRick Heidner promotes himself as a businessman ready to fix Springfield. He has loaned roughly one million dollars to his own campaign and highlights his success in real estate and gaming.\n\nHowever, Republican voters cannot ignore his political history.\n\nCampaign finance records show that over the past two decades, Heidner and his companies made significant political contributions totaling well over one million dollars. Those donations included support for high profile Chicago Democrats such as former Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson.\n\nHeidner has described some of those contributions as mistakes or political favors. But primary voters are right to question whether someone who financially supported progressive Chicago leadership is the right standard bearer for the Republican Party.\n\nMoney can launch a campaign. It cannot rewrite a record.\n\n## Darren Bailey: The Weight of 2022\n\nDarren Bailey remains well known among Republican voters. He won the nomination in 2022 and energized rural Illinois.\n\nBut in the general election, Bailey lost to Governor Pritzker by roughly 12.5 percentage points. That was not a narrow defeat. It was decisive.\n\nThe Chicago metropolitan region determines statewide outcomes. Republicans must compete there to win. Bailey struggled to expand beyond his base last time.\n\nThe question for primary voters is simple. Is rerunning the same strategy the right path forward.\n\n## The Real Choice\n\nIllinois Republicans have not won statewide office in years. This primary is about more than loyalty to familiar names. It is about strength, strategy and seriousness.\n\n**Mendrick** brings executive leadership, law and order credibility and disciplined conservative governance.\n\n**Dabrowski** brings a detailed reform blueprint and economic clarity.\n\n**Heidner** brings business experience but must answer for past Democratic support.\n\n**Bailey** brings name recognition but carries the burden of a significant recent loss.\n\nIf Republicans want a nominee who can project strength, unify the party and stand toe to toe with Pritzker in November, James Mendrick has made a powerful case that he is that candidate.\n\n**Illinois does not need more noise. It needs leadership.**\n\n*By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*",

"title": "The Useful Idiots Are Back at It Again",
"content_text": "Mickey Scornavacco exposes the organized funding networks and foreign influence concerns behind the latest anti-war protests at Chicago's Federal Plaza.",
"content_html": "## The Useful Idiots Are Back at It Again\n\n**By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco**\n\nOnce again Chicago's Federal Plaza was the backdrop for the latest left wing spectacle. Crowds gathered not to present reasoned debate or sober analysis of U.S. policy but to condemn this country after its actions tied to Iran. Dozens waved signs and chanted slogans that could have been lifted straight from last year's rally list with only the date changed. That alone should raise eyebrows about how organic this movement really is.\n\nBehind the rhetoric about peace and anti war compassion lies something far more organized and funded. Groups like Indivisible, which helped mobilize protests, are not spontaneous neighborhood committees. They are part of a national network that receives millions of dollars from large liberal funding sources including the Open Society Foundations and related funding networks such as Arabella Advisors affiliates and the Sixteen Thirty Fund. These networks funnel money into political activism that consistently aligns with progressive agendas.\n\nGoing even deeper, some of these left wing coalitions are connected to broader activist infrastructures backed by wealthy donors and figures tied to foreign influence concerns. Reports have shown that funding networks associated with individuals like Neville Singham have supported nationwide protests opposing U.S. and Israeli strikes through aligned organizations. Critics argue these networks help amplify anti American messaging under the banner of activism.\n\nThis should make Americans ask hard questions about authenticity. When protests emerge again and again with nearly identical talking points, when the messaging mirrors narratives promoted by foreign adversaries, when large sums of outside money and organizational infrastructure push the same themes from coast to coast, it is fair to question how much of this is genuine grassroots dissent and how much is politically engineered theater.\n\nSomeone genuinely concerned about peace and American lives would acknowledge that Iran is not a neutral actor. For decades it has sponsored terrorism, openly advocated for America's destruction, and brutalized its own people. To reflexively condemn U.S. action without mentioning these facts is not moral clarity. It is moral selective amnesia.\n\nWhat stands out is not just the slogans. It is the pattern. The same networks behind anti war demonstrations often appear across multiple progressive causes, creating a constant cycle of mobilization that looks less like spontaneous civic outrage and more like coordinated political strategy.\n\nProtest is healthy in a democracy. But when protest is repeatedly fueled by national networks with substantial financial backing, when foreign influence concerns overlap with domestic messaging, and when sweeping generalizations replace thoughtful analysis, Americans deserve better than recycled grievance signs and choreographed outrage.\n\nDissent should enlighten. What we saw in Chicago and across the country looks more like performance than principle, and more like organized political theater than an authentic uprising.",

"content_html": "# Illinois Democrats and Their Fake Outrage Over Iran\n\n**By Mike \"Mickey\" Scornavacco**\n\n---\n\nI read the FOX 32 piece about Illinois Democrats blasting Trump's military strikes on Iran.\n\nLet's call this what it is.\n\nThis is not constitutional concern.\n\nThis is not moral clarity.\n\nThis is coordinated partisan outrage because Donald Trump pulled the trigger.\n\nI'm going to take this line by line and call it exactly how I see it.\n\n## Robin Kelly\n\nRobin Kelly says Trump \"destabilized the entire Middle East region.\"\n\nThat statement alone tells me she either does not understand the Middle East or she is pretending not to.\n\nIran has destabilized the region for decades.\n\nThey fund Hezbollah.\n\nThey fund Hamas.\n\nThey arm militias that attack Americans.\n\nThey threaten Israel openly.\n\n**Iran is the destabilizer.**\n\nActing against a destabilizer is not destabilization. It is confrontation.\n\nKelly also claims Trump is willing to lose American lives because \"that often happens in war.\"\n\nWar is tragic. That is obvious. But deterrence prevents larger wars. Strength reduces future casualties. Weakness invites bigger conflicts.\n\nIf Iran believes the United States will not act, Americans are at greater risk, not less.\n\n## Jan Schakowsky\n\nSchakowsky says the American people do not want another war and that Congress did not authorize this action.\n\nNobody wants war.\n\nBut nobody wants a nuclear Iran either.\n\nPresidents from both parties have used military force without formal declarations for decades. Obama did it. Biden did it. Now suddenly it is a constitutional emergency.\n\n**This is selective outrage.**\n\nShe also talks about diplomacy and reviving the Iran nuclear agreement.\n\nWe tried that. Iran violated it. They continued enrichment. They continued funding terror.\n\nDiplomacy without leverage is begging.\n\n## Brad Schneider\n\nBrad Schneider acknowledges that Iran threatens its neighbors and chants \"Death to America.\"\n\nSo he admits the threat is real.\n\nThen he says Trump should have paused for more hearings, more debate, more briefings.\n\nNational security is not a committee exercise when hostile regimes are advancing.\n\nIf intelligence shows a credible threat, a Commander in Chief has authority to act.\n\nWe can debate oversight after. But paralysis is not strategy.\n\n## Dick Durbin\n\nDurbin warns this could be long and costly.\n\nWar often is.\n\nThat is not analysis. That is fear.\n\nThe question is not whether conflict is expensive. The question is whether inaction costs more in the long term.\n\nIran has spent decades expanding influence through terror proxies. At some point you either draw a line or you accept their expansion.\n\n## Chuy Garcia\n\nGarcia calls this a \"regime change fantasy built on lies.\"\n\nThat is inflammatory rhetoric.\n\nIran's nuclear ambitions are not a fantasy.\n\nTheir proxy wars are not a fantasy.\n\nTheir hostility toward the United States is not a fantasy.\n\nCalling it lies does not make it false.\n\n**It makes it political theater.**\n\n## J.B. Pritzker\n\nGovernor Pritzker says there was no justification, no authorization, and no clear objective.\n\nThe objective was clear. Degrade Iran's capabilities. Protect American interests. Reestablish deterrence.\n\nAs for authorization, again, modern presidents have acted under existing military authorities for decades.\n\nSuddenly Illinois Democrats have rediscovered the War Powers Resolution.\n\nIf they want a serious debate about executive authority, I'm open to it. But let's apply it consistently, not only when Trump is involved.\n\n## Sean Casten and Raja Krishnamoorthi\n\nThey argue there was no imminent threat described publicly.\n\nWe do not release classified intelligence to satisfy cable news cycles.\n\nWaiting for a missile to launch before calling something imminent is reckless.\n\n**Prevention is not escalation. Prevention is strategy.**\n\n## Here Is What This Really Is\n\nThis is not about Iran.\n\nThis is about Trump.\n\nIf a Democrat president launched the exact same strike citing the exact same intelligence, these same Illinois leaders would be talking about protecting American interests and standing with our allies.\n\nInstead, they chose outrage.\n\nThey offer no alternative strategy to stop Iran's nuclear program.\n\nThey offer no plan to counter terror proxies.\n\nThey offer no serious deterrence model.\n\nThey offer press statements.\n\nAmerica does not look for war. But America does not wait to be hit before acting.\n\n**Strength deters.**\n\n**Weakness invites.**\n\nIllinois Democrats are free to oppose the strike. That is their right.\n\nBut do not wrap partisan reflex in constitutional virtue and call it leadership.\n\n**That is performance politics.**\n\n**And the American people deserve better than performance.**",

You are acting as unpaid public relations for a hostile government.\n\n**Useful idiots.**\n\nIran's regime does not need American activists chanting on its behalf. It does not need help rewriting its image. It does not need Western protest culture laundering its aggression into anti war branding.\n\nBut somehow, it always gets them.\n\nLet's be clear. This is not about suppressing protest. You have the right to gather. You have the right to chant. You have the right to criticize U.S. policy.\n\nBut you do not get immunity from being called out when your moral compass spins only one direction.\n\nWhere is the sign that says:\n\n- **HANDS OFF AMERICAN TROOPS**\n- **IRAN, STOP FUNDING TERROR**\n- **PROTECT U.S. BASES**\n\nNowhere.\n\nBecause for this crowd, America is always the villain. No investigation required. No context necessary. Just reflex.\n\n**Useful idiots.**\n\nStrength is not warmongering.\n\nDeterrence is not aggression.\n\nDefending American lives is not something we apologize for.\n\nForeign policy is not a college seminar. It is not a protest slogan. It is about power, signals, and consequences.\n\nWhen America shows weakness, hostile regimes notice.\n\nWhen America signals hesitation, adversaries test it.\n\nWhen activists flood the streets demanding unilateral restraint regardless of what Iran does, they are not reducing danger. They are broadcasting division.\n\nAnd division is a signal too.\n\nYou can oppose endless wars. That is legitimate.\n\nBut pretending Iran's regime is a passive victim while ignoring decades of proxy warfare, missile programs, and regional destabilization is not serious analysis. It is emotional activism detached from reality.\n\nThe world is dangerous.\n\nIran's leadership is not naive. They understand strength. They calculate risk. He is a 30-year public safety professional who rose through the ranks of law enforcement and now serves as the elected Sheriff of DuPage County, one of the largest counties in our state. Since taking office in 2018, he has led that department with steady leadership and a clear focus on public safety, accountability, and community trust.\n\nAs sheriff, Jim began his career as a patrol deputy and worked his way into leadership long before he was elected. He has strengthened jail programs focused on rehabilitation and reducing repeat offenses, helping individuals leave crime behind and reenter society successfully. He has partnered with community and health agencies to confront the opioid crisis head-on. He understands that protecting families requires both strength and smart solutions.\n\nJim entered the governor's race because he believes Illinois deserves stronger leadership, especially when it comes to public safety. He has not stayed silent while policies coming out of Springfield make it harder to protect neighborhoods. He has spoken clearly about the direction our state needs to take.\n\nBut beyond his resume and positions, what matters most to me is trust.\n\nOver the past few months, Jim and his wife Cyndi have become friends of mine. I have had the opportunity to spend time with them, talk with them personally, and see who they are outside of public office. They have proven something simple but powerful to me. I can count on them to show up.\n\nNot just for events. Not just when cameras are around. But when it matters.\n\nIllinois does not need another polished politician with the biggest campaign fund. It needs leadership grounded in character, experience, and consistency.\n\nJames Mendrick has proven to me that he has those qualities. That is why I am proud to endorse him. I encourage everyone to research him for themselves, examine his record as DuPage County Sheriff, and make an informed decision.\n\n**Leadership is not about money. It is about character.**\n\n*Mike \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*",

"content_html": "It wasn't about applause.\nIt wasn't about Donald Trump.\nIt wasn't even about immigration policy in that moment.\n\nIt was about a murdered girl.\n\nHer name was spoken in the chamber of the United States House of Representatives. Her story was told before the nation. Her family stood in the gallery carrying grief that no parent should ever carry.\n\nAnd Democrats stayed seated.\n\nLet's be clear about what this was and what it was not.\n\nStanding would not have meant endorsing a border bill.\nStanding would not have meant supporting deportations.\nStanding would not have meant pledging loyalty to the President.\n\nStanding would have meant acknowledging a human tragedy.\n\nInstead, political calculation won.\n\nSome Democrats stared forward with stone faces. Some refused even the optics of basic acknowledgment because the story was tied to a policy argument they oppose. In modern Washington, even empathy is filtered through party strategy.\n\nAnd it didn't stop there.\n\nWhile families were being honored, a Democrat sat in the chamber wearing a \"F**k ICE\" pin during one of the most formal constitutional ceremonies in the country. Not outside at a protest. Not at a campaign rally. In the House chamber.\n\nICE is a federal agency enforcing laws passed by Congress. If those laws are wrong, Congress has the authority to change them. That is how our system works. But profanity as political branding inside the chamber is not reform. It is spectacle.\n\nWhat America witnessed was not disagreement.\nIt was defiance staged for viral clips.\n\nA murdered girl became a partisan liability.\nA permanently disabled child became a messaging risk.\n\nAnd Democrats chose posture over humanity.\n\nHere is the reality Democrats may not want to hear:\n\nVoters at home are not policy analysts. They are parents. They are working families. They are citizens watching to see whether their leaders still possess basic human instinct.\n\nYou can argue immigration law tomorrow.\nYou can debate asylum policy next week.\nYou can file legislation to dismantle ICE next month.\n\nBut when you cannot visibly rise for a child whose life was destroyed, you don't look principled. You look hardened.\n\nPolitics in 2026 is tribal. Everything is about signaling to your base. Every moment is content. Every reaction is calibrated.\n\nBut there are moments that are supposed to transcend tribe.\n\nLast night was one of them.\n\nAnd Democrats stayed seated.\n\nThat is the image America will remember.\n\nNot the applause lines.\nNot the policy charts.\nNot the partisan back and forth.\n\nThey will remember who stood.\n\nAnd who didn't.",

"content_html": "**By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco**\n*MickeyX3.com*\n\nAlright. Let's walk through this without the memes and chest-thumping.\n\nThe U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6–3 that President Donald Trump used the wrong law when he rolled out sweeping global tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.\n\n**Translation?**\n\nYou cannot use an emergency statute as a blank check to tax the world.\n\nTariffs are taxes. And the Constitution gives Congress the power to tax. The Court basically said IEEPA was never meant to authorize broad, across-the-board import tariffs.\n\nThat is not partisan. That is structural.\n\nSeparation of powers 101.\n\n## But Here's Where It Gets Interesting\n\nTrump did not retreat.\n\nWithin hours, he pivoted.\n\nInstead of IEEPA, he cited **Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974** and issued a **10 percent global tariff** under that authority.\n\nDifferent statute. Different legal foundation.\n\nSection 122 allows the president to impose temporary tariffs for up to 150 days to address trade imbalances while investigations move forward. It is not unlimited. It is not permanent. But it is written into law.\n\nSo when people say Trump \"just used another law and added 10 percent,\" that is partially accurate. What they leave out is the constitutional boundary the Court just enforced.\n\nThe Supreme Court did not validate the original tariffs. They rejected the legal path he used.\n\nTrump responded by choosing a different path.\n\nThat is not chaos. That is institutional push and pull.\n\n## Why This Actually Matters\n\nThis fight is bigger than tariffs.\n\n**This is about executive power.**\n\nFor years, presidents of both parties have stretched emergency authorities. The Court just signaled that there are limits. Emergency powers are not a workaround for congressional authority.\n\nAt the same time, the president still has tools. Congress wrote trade statutes that allow temporary action. Trump is now using one of them.\n\nThat means this is far from over.\n\nSection 122 tariffs expire after 150 days unless extended properly. Investigations must move forward. Congress could intervene. Other countries could retaliate. Markets could react.\n\n**This is constitutional chess in real time.**\n\nIf you support Trump, you see strategy.\nIf you oppose him, you see overreach corrected.\n\nEither way, the system functioned.\n\nThe Court drew a line.\nThe president adjusted.\nAnd America keeps arguing.\n\n**Welcome to 2026.**\n\nMore straight talk at [MickeyX3.com](https://mickeyx3.com)",

You can vote differently. You can debate passionately. But if every headline feels like a five alarm existential crisis, your nervous system is running on fumes.\n\n**Repeat this slowly:**\n\n- Politics is not a horror movie.\n- An election result is not an extinction event.\n- The Constitution does not evaporate overnight.\n- Disagreement is not doom.\n\n\n\n---\n\n## Week 2: News Detox\n\nSeven days. Reduce outrage intake by half.\n\n- No doom scrolling before bed.\n- No reposting headlines without reading them.\n- No consuming panel shows where everyone is yelling.\n\n**Replace it with:**\n\n- Primary sources.\n- Long form reading.\n- Conversations with real humans.\n- Time outdoors.\n\nIf your emotional state depends entirely on cable news graphics, that is not civic engagement. That is subscription based anxiety.\n\n**Cut the dosage.**\n\n\n\n---\n\n## Week 3: Meet a Trump Voter\n\nThis is the breakthrough stage.\n\nFind a real person who supports Trump. Not a caricature. Not a meme. A human being.\n\n**Ask why.**\n\nListen without rehearsing a rebuttal in your head.\n\nYou may hear concerns about inflation, border security, crime, small business pressure, energy policy, national pride, distrust of institutions.\n\nYou may disagree with every point.\n\nThat is fine.\n\nThe goal is not conversion. The goal is understanding that millions of Americans are not villains in a movie. They prioritize issues differently.\n\n**Empathy does not equal surrender. It equals maturity.**\n\n\n\n---\n\n## Week 4: Reclaim Your Identity\n\nIf your entire personality is built around opposing one man, he is living in your head rent free.\n\n- Build something.\n- Start a hobby.\n- Volunteer locally.\n- Focus on your town, your family, your work, your health.\n\nNational politics matters. But if it consumes your emotional bandwidth 24 hours a day, you are not informed. You are inflamed.\n\n**Reclaim your life from constant outrage.**\n\n\n\n---\n\n## Signs of Relapse\n\n- Calling every policy disagreement authoritarianism\n- Cutting off friends over yard signs\n- Assuming half the country is evil\n- Treating one presidency as the fate of civilization\n\nAmerica has survived wars, depressions, scandals, protests, impeachments, and disco.\n\nIt can survive disagreement.\n\n---\n\n## Final Thought\n\nYou do not have to like Donald Trump.\n\nYou do not have to support him.\n\nBut if the mere mention of his name triggers emotional collapse, the issue may not be political.\n\n**It may be perspective.**\n\nFour weeks. Less hysteria. More humanity. More calm.\n\n**That is how you cure TDS.**",

"content_text": "After reflection upon what happened, Superintendent Bob Gold addressed families directly about the Big Hollow Middle School walkout. He took ownership, acknowledged safety failures, and drew a line. Now the question is: can that leadership extend beyond one campus before the next walkout hits?",
"content_html": "## Credit Where It's Due\n## And A Chance To Lead Before The Next Walkout\n\n*By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*\n\n\n\nAfter reflection upon what happened, Superintendent Bob Gold addressed families directly regarding the student walkout at Big Hollow Middle School.\n\nAnd to his credit, he did not hide from it.\n\nHe opened by acknowledging the discussion happening in online spaces and made it clear he wanted families to \"hear directly from me how things were handled and what we learned from it.\"\n\nThat matters.\n\nHe then said something even more important:\n\n> \"Administratively we did not handle the situation perfectly, and that falls on me.\"\n\n**That is leadership.**\n\nNo blame shifting. No finger pointing. Ownership.\n\nHe admitted the district was \"caught a little off guard,\" particularly by some of the student behavior during the activity.\n\n\n\nAccording to multiple accounts from those present, an estimated 150 students rushed out of the building at roughly the same time, leaving the campus in a sudden wave. There are also allegations circulating that the walkout may have been coordinated in advance by some eighth grade students through social media posts.\n\nThe district has not confirmed those details publicly. However, if accurate, that would explain how quickly the situation escalated and why administrators described being caught off guard.\n\nSuperintendent Gold also directly addressed a major allegation circulating online. He stated clearly that no staff members were encouraging students or leading the protest. He explained that several adults were outside monitoring students in an effort to keep them safe and that their presence had been misconstrued by some as \"leading\" the protest.\n\nHe made clear that was not the case.\n\nThat clarification needed to be made, and he made it.\n\n\n\n\n\n## Safety Was The Line\n\nThe most important sentence in the entire letter may have been this:\n\n> \"A primary part of our job is to make sure all students are safe when they are here on our campus, and that activity was not safe for the students who participated.\"\n\nThat is not political language.\n\nThat is a superintendent acknowledging a safety lapse.\n\nHe further stated:\n\n> \"The circumstances under which this occurred cannot be repeated.\"\n\nAnd he made it clear that future demonstrations that do not follow safety and supervision procedures will be considered violations of the Student Code of Conduct.\n\n**That is a line in the sand.**\n\nHe also emphasized that students who remained inside the building continued their day under teacher supervision and that instruction continued.\n\nFinally, he acknowledged that \"we fell short in controlling the disruption\" and committed to improvements in handling situations like this moving forward.\n\nThat is transparency.\n\nThat builds trust.\n\n## Now Comes The Opportunity To Lead\n\nIf roughly 150 middle school students can exit a building simultaneously due to online coordination, that is not just a discipline issue.\n\n**That is a systems issue.**\n\nIt highlights how quickly digital organizing can translate into real world disruption inside a school environment.\n\nAnd that is not unique to Big Hollow.\n\nThere are now rumors circulating that Lake Villa Middle School may experience a similar walkout on Thursday, February 17, 2026.\n\nIf that rumor proves true, this is a moment for proactive leadership.\n\nSuperintendent Gold has already publicly acknowledged the challenges, the disruption, and the safety concerns that can arise when a walkout unfolds unexpectedly.\n\nHe has already stated that procedures must improve.\n\nThat gives him something valuable.\n\n**Experience.**\n\nIf another district is facing a similar situation, there is no downside to reaching out and sharing what was learned.\n\n- What caught staff off guard.\n- What digital signals were missed.\n- How supervision should be structured.\n- How to prevent unsafe conditions when large groups move at once.\n\nLeadership is not about avoiding difficult moments.\n\nIt is about learning from them and helping others avoid the same mistakes.\n\n## Schools Must Stay Focused On Safety And Education\n\nSuperintendent Gold emphasized that Big Hollow does not want to be thrust between political tensions and that neutrality is essential.\n\nThat is correct.\n\nMiddle school campuses are not political battlegrounds.\n\nThey are places for structured learning.\n\nStudents have voices. That is part of growing up. But those voices must exist within systems that protect safety and preserve instructional integrity.\n\nGold acknowledged the district fell short in controlling the disruption.\n\nThat honesty deserves recognition.\n\nNow the focus shifts to implementation.\n\nImproved procedures. Clear supervision. Monitoring how social media activity can quickly mobilize large groups. Consistent enforcement.\n\nAnd, if necessary, communication with neighboring districts before similar situations unfold.\n\n## Prevent Tomorrow, Not Just Explain Yesterday\n\nThe superintendent asked families to share his message wherever it may be helpful.\n\nHere is where it may be helpful.\n\nIf Lake Villa Middle School is facing a potential walkout, early coordination between districts could protect students, reduce disruption, and prevent another situation later described as \"not safe.\"\n\nThis does not have to be political.\n\nIt has to be professional.\n\nBecause when 11, 12, and 13 year olds can mobilize 150 students at once through social media, adult coordination must move faster than rumor.\n\nSuperintendent Gold took responsibility.\n\nNow there is an opportunity to extend that leadership beyond one campus.\n\n**Fix what happened.**\n\n**And prevent what might happen next.**\n\n---\n\n## Reaching Out Before Thursday\n\nI reached out to the Lake Villa Superintendent, the Mayor, and the Chief of Police to share what happened at Big Hollow and encourage early communication ahead of Thursday.\n\nMy goal is simple. When large groups of middle school students are rumored to be organizing something, it makes sense for school leadership and local officials to be aligned in advance.\n\nThis is not about politics. It is about making sure everyone is prepared and that student safety remains the priority.\n\nClear communication before something happens is always better than scrambling afterward.\n\n\n\n---\n\nđź“„ **Read Superintendent Gold's full letter to families:**\n\n[VIEW_SUPERINTENDENT_LETTER]\n",

"content_text": "Mickey Scornavacco endorses Roman Buchberger, a 32-year law enforcement veteran, for Lake County Sheriff in 2026. After a powerful Behind Enemy Lines interview, Roman proves he puts safety first and leads with experience, not politics.",
"content_html": "🇺🇸 **Roman Buchberger for Lake County Sheriff 2026** 🇺🇸\n\n*By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*\n\n\n\nLake County has a choice to make in 2026. Not between parties. Not between slogans. But between real leadership and politics as usual.\n\nLast night on Behind Enemy Lines, I sat down with Roman Buchberger, candidate for Lake County Sheriff, and what stood out immediately is this:\n\n**Roman is not a typical politician.**\n\nHe is a 32-year law enforcement professional. He has spent more than three decades in the trenches, not behind a podium. He has seen what works, what fails, and what happens when leadership loses focus. That kind of experience cannot be faked, and it cannot be replaced by press releases.\n\n\n\n## A Real Conversation About Real Problems\n\nWe just wrapped a strong interview breaking down the recent school walkouts and the serious safety concerns surrounding middle school students being pulled into political protests.\n\nThis was not spin.\n\nThis was not rehearsed talking points.\n\nThis was not campaign fluff.\n\nIt was a direct, honest conversation about leadership, accountability, and protecting our kids.\n\nRoman spoke clearly about what law enforcement's role should be when minors are placed in politically charged environments. He focused on safety. Not ideology. Not party politics. Safety.\n\nThat matters.\n\n\n\n## Experience Over Politics\n\nIn a time when too many candidates talk about \"reimagining\" law enforcement, Roman talks about **strengthening it**.\n\nHe understands that the Sheriff's Office is not a social experiment. It is a public safety institution. The people of Lake County deserve a Sheriff who understands chain of command, operational readiness, and community protection from day one.\n\nYou do not get that from someone learning on the job.\n\nYou get that from **32 years of boots-on-the-ground experience**.\n\n## Leadership That Puts Safety First\n\nThe Sheriff's race is not symbolic. It affects:\n\n- School resource officer policies\n- Jail administration\n- Cooperation with federal and state agencies\n- Community safety protocols\n- Crisis response standards\n\nWhen we talked about middle school students being pulled into protests, Roman did not dodge the issue. "title": "Eleven-Year-Olds on the Roadside — Who Thought This Was a Good Idea?",
"content_text": "Middle school students were outside along Wilson Road holding protest signs during active instructional hours. Under Illinois law, this involves compulsory attendance requirements, supervision duties, district liability, and constitutional neutrality.",
"content_html": "\n\nAt approximately 1:20 in the afternoon, during active instructional hours, middle school students were outside along Wilson Road holding protest signs.\n\nNot seniors.\nNot adults.\nMiddle schoolers.\n**Eleven-year-olds.**\n\nIf you think that is normal, we need to have a serious conversation.\n\nBecause under Illinois law, this is not just kids expressing themselves. This involves compulsory attendance requirements, supervision duties, district liability, and constitutional neutrality.\n\nLet's walk through this carefully.\n\n\n\n## Illinois Compulsory Attendance Is Not Optional\n\n**105 ILCS 5/26-1**\n\nIllinois requires children between ages 6 and 17 to attend school during instructional hours unless properly excused.\n\nThat means students are required to be inside structured educational programming during the school day.\n\nSo here are the basic questions.\n\n- Were these students officially excused?\n- Were parents notified in advance?\n- Were permission slips signed?\n- Were absences coded properly?\n- Was this classified as curriculum?\n\nIf students were outside participating in a political demonstration during required instructional time, someone authorized it or someone failed to enforce attendance law.\n\nThere is no gray area.\n\n\n\n## In Loco Parentis Means Responsibility\n\n**105 ILCS 5/24-24**\n\nIllinois law gives teachers and administrators authority over students in the place of parents.\n\nThat authority carries responsibility.\n\nWhen minors are placed along a public roadway during a politically charged demonstration, the district assumes responsibility for their safety.\n\n- Was there a documented safety plan?\n- Was traffic risk assessed?\n- Was district administration consulted?\n- Was the school board informed?\n\nIf a child had been injured, what would the explanation be?\n\nOnce you move children outside during instructional hours for activism, you own the risk.\n\n\n\n## Public Schools Must Remain Viewpoint Neutral\n\nPublic schools are government institutions. That means they must operate with constitutional neutrality.\n\nIf organized political demonstrations are allowed during instructional hours, that policy must apply equally to all viewpoints.\n\nSo here is the test.\n\n**If a group of middle school students wanted to stage a pro ICE walkout at 1:20 PM on a school day, would staff supervise that too?**\n\nIf the answer is no, then this is not neutral student expression.\n\nThat is selective political facilitation.\n\nAnd that opens serious constitutional concerns.\n\n## It Gets Worse\n\nAccording to the individual who documented the event, at one point a staff member allegedly made an obscene gesture toward the person taking photos.\n\n\n\n\n\nIf that allegation is accurate, this moves beyond policy questions and into professional conduct.\n\nEducators are public employees. They are on duty. They are supervising minors.\n\nIf a staff member responded to a concerned citizen with an obscene gesture while overseeing a political demonstration during school hours, that demands immediate administrative review.\n\n- Was the interaction captured on video?\n- Was it reported?\n- Has the district addressed it?\n\nIf the allegation is false, the district should clarify.\nIf it is true, there should be consequences.\n\nEither way, silence erodes trust.\n\n\n\n## This Is Not Civics Class\n\nCivics education happens in classrooms.\nDiscussion is structured.\nDebate is guided.\n\nWhat happened here appears to be middle school students outside during instructional time participating in live political activism.\n\nParents send their children to school to learn reading, writing, math, science, and critical thinking.\n\nThey do not send them to be mobilized.\n\nThere is a difference between teaching government and staging demonstrations.\n\nPretending otherwise insults the intelligence of the community.\n\n## The Questions That Must Be Answered\n\n- Who approved this?\n- Were parents formally notified?\n- Were students authorized to leave the building?\n- Was this considered instructional time?\n- Was board policy followed?\n- Was legal counsel consulted?\n\nIf this was sanctioned, release the documentation.\nIf it was not sanctioned, explain why it was allowed.\nIf policy was violated, accountability must follow.\n\nNot because of politics.\nBecause of law.\nBecause of safety.\nBecause of trust.\n\nEleven-year-olds standing along a roadway during school hours holding political signs is not something that gets brushed off with a shrug.\n\n**Show the paperwork.\nOr admit this crossed a line.**\n\n\n\n## A Responsible Call for Transparency\n\nThis is not a call for harassment. It is not a call for outrage mobs. It is a call for accountability.\n\nParents and taxpayers have every right to respectfully contact the Big Hollow School District administration and school board to ask direct questions about this event and the policies that guided it.\n\nHere is how to reach them:\n\n**Big Hollow School District #38 (District Office)**\n26051 W. Nippersink Road\nIngleside, IL 60041\nPhone: (847) 740-1490\nWebsite: [bighollow.us](https://bighollow.us)\n\n**Big Hollow Middle School Administrative Office**\n26051 W. Nippersink Road\nIngleside, IL 60041\nPhone: (847) 740-5322\nEmail: midadmin@bighollow.us\n\nYou may also find board member contact information, meeting schedules, and public comment instructions on the official district board of education page on the [bighollow.us](https://bighollow.us) site.\n\nContact them respectfully.\n\nAsk them:\n- Was this school sanctioned?\n- Was parental consent obtained?\n- What policy allowed this?\n- How was student safety assessed?\n- How will viewpoint neutrality be ensured going forward?\n\nAttend the next board meeting. Submit written questions. Request documentation. Demand transparency.\n\n**Public schools answer to the public.**\n\n**And when 11-year-olds are involved, silence is not acceptable.**",

That supporting law enforcement is violence. That enforcing immigration law is hatred. That disagreement equals harm.\n\nYou create kids who believe throwing a punch makes them righteous.\n\n## Now let's zoom out.\n\nThis was not some random hallway moment. There have been organized anti ICE walkouts across schools. Coordinated messaging. Social media promotion. Students encouraged to leave class in protest. And somehow these events continue to unfold inside buildings that are supposed to be politically neutral learning environments.\n\nAre schools simply overwhelmed? Or are they quietly condoning one side of political activism while pretending to be neutral?\n\nBecause here is the uncomfortable truth.\n\nWhen you allow organized political walkouts on one side of an issue, you are signaling to students that this is approved behavior. You are validating the narrative that one position is morally superior and the other is dangerous.\n\nThen a student shows up with the \"wrong\" sign.\n\nAnd he gets punched.\n\nWhen politicians and media personalities constantly scream that their opponents are fascists, when teachers allow political activism in school but only in one direction, when news outlets frame every conservative opinion as a threat to democracy, you are not creating activists.\n\n**You are manufacturing hostility.**\n\nAnd then you act shocked when it explodes in a hallway.\n\nThe same people who chant about tolerance will cheer a mob if the target is wearing the wrong hat or holding the wrong sign.\n\nThey call conservatives Nazis while justifying mob behavior against them.\n\n**Think about that.**\n\nA student expresses support for a federal law enforcement agency. Another student threatens him on camera and follows through.\n\nThat is not protest.\nThat is not courage.\nThat is not activism.\n\n**That is intimidation culture.**\n\n## And now we have something even more concerning.\n\nThere is a planned walkout this Thursday 02/19/2026 at a Lake Villa Illinois middle school.\n\n**Middle school.**\n\nWe are talking about eleven year olds.\n\nAre we really going to pretend this is normal?\n\nHigh school students are one thing. But now we are mobilizing 6th graders into national political protests about federal immigration enforcement?\n\nAre we putting eleven year olds in the middle of volatile political debates that adults cannot even handle without throwing punches?\n\nWhat happens when a middle school kid shows up with a counter sign? What happens when emotions run high? What happens when a crowd mentality kicks in?\n\nDo we think eleven year olds are better at managing mob psychology than high schoolers?\n\n## Adults set the temperature.\n\nIf administrators allow these walkouts to continue without clear guardrails and clear protections for dissenting viewpoints, then they are not just facilitating \"student expression.\" They are gambling with student safety.\n\nIf this video showed a conservative student punching someone for holding an anti ICE sign, it would be national news for weeks. There would be assemblies. Investigations. Statements about hate.\n\nBut because the target held a pro ICE sign, we get context. We get silence. We get excuses.\n\n**No.**\n\nViolence is violence.\n\nYou do not get to punch people because you believe your politics are morally superior.\n\nSchools are supposed to teach debate, resilience, and critical thinking. Instead we are teaching tribalism, outrage, and moral absolutism.\n\nAnd now it is trickling down to children who still need permission to go to the bathroom.\n\n**That should alarm everyone.**\n\nWe can disagree about immigration policy all day long. That is healthy. That is America.\n\nBut once we start normalizing physical aggression and mob pressure against students who think differently, we are not defending democracy.\n\n**We are eroding it.**\n\nThe real question is not why that kid got punched.\n\nThe real question is this:\n\n**Why are we creating environments where kids believe it is justified?**\n\nAnd are we really prepared to drag eleven year olds into the same fire?",

The crowd claims to oppose people being mistreated. The crowd claims ICE represents danger.\n\nBut the moment someone showed up carrying the \"wrong\" flag, they proved something far more disturbing than any protest sign could cover up.\n\n**Protection, in their world, is conditional.**\n\nYou are only worthy of safety if you vote the right way.\n\nYou are only worthy of dignity if you echo the approved narrative.\n\nYou are only worthy of protection if you pass the ideological purity test.\n\n**The irony is brutal.**\n\nIf this movement is about protecting Hispanics from being harmed, why was a Hispanic man beaten in the name of that protection?\n\nThe answer is uncomfortable.\n\nThis was never about ethnicity.\n\nThis was about ideology.\n\nAnd when ideology becomes more important than individual human dignity, mobs form.\n\nWhat happened in Aurora wasn't a clash of cultures. It wasn't \"community activism.\" It was a loyalty purge in broad daylight.\n\nThe message was clear:\n\nIf you are Hispanic and support Trump, you are a traitor.\n\nIf you are Hispanic and support immigration enforcement, you are expendable.\n\nIf you break from the narrative, you are fair game.\n\n**That is not justice.**\n\n**That is intimidation politics dressed up as compassion.**\n\nThe most dangerous part is not the punches. It is the moral inversion.\n\nWe now live in a moment where people scream about safety while surrounding someone 20-to-1. Where they chant about protection while throwing rocks. Where they preach tolerance while hunting dissent.\n\nAnd public officials stood nearby as it unfolded.\n\nYou can see the Mayor of Aurora present at the protest here:\n\n<iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/UOY4Dan6n7k\" title=\"Mayor of Aurora at protest\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen></iframe>\n\n**Leadership matters. Accountability matters.**\n\nYou cannot claim to oppose force while using it.\n\nYou cannot claim to defend a community while attacking members of that same community for political noncompliance.\n\nYou cannot claim the moral high ground while acting like a mob.\n\n**The irony is not subtle.**\n\n**It is glaring.**\n\nThis is what happens when identity becomes weaponized. When ethnicity is treated not as heritage, but as political property. When individuals are told they must think a certain way because of their last name.\n\nVal Ojeda was not attacked because of who he is.\n\nHe was attacked because he refused to think the way the crowd demanded he think.\n\n**That should terrify anyone who still believes in individual liberty.**\n\nIf the standard is truly that no one should be harmed because of who they are, then that standard must apply even when someone disagrees with you politically.\n\nOtherwise, it was never about protection.\n\n**It was about control.**\n\nAurora did not expose ICE.\n\nAurora exposed something else entirely.\n\nIt exposed the fact that some activists are more interested in enforcing ideological conformity than protecting human beings.\n\n**And that is the real danger.**",

We are dealing with a database sweep.\n\nAnd that's the problem.\n\nThe American people are not asking for a celebrity scavenger hunt. "content_html": "**The Political Left Has No Business Using Middle Schoolers as Protest Props**\n\n*By Michael \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*\n*Republican Committeeman, Antioch 6*\n\n\n\nOn Saturday night, February 14, 2026, while attending the annual Lincoln Dinner, I received an anonymous tip that a middle school walkout is being organized in Lake Villa for Thursday, February 19.\n\nMiddle school.\n\nNot college radicals.\nNot voting-age activists.\nNot adults who pay taxes and understand federal policy.\n\n**Children.**\n\nAnd that is where this stops being \"activism\" and starts being manipulation.\n\n## This Is Not About Immigration\n\nYou can support ICE.\nYou can oppose ICE.\nYou can debate sanctuary laws until you are blue in the face.\n\nThat is adult business.\n\nDragging 11, 12, 13, and 14 year olds into national political warfare during school hours is not civic education. It is spectacle. It is emotional leverage. It is adults weaponizing youth optics.\n\nThere is nothing brave about encouraging children to abandon class for a political narrative.\n\n\n\n## The Pattern Is Spreading\n\nThis is not isolated.\n\nWalkouts have already spread across Lake and McHenry counties. Middle schools have already been pulled into this wave. What started at high schools is now targeting younger students.\n\nWhy?\n\nBecause younger students are easier to mobilize. Easier to influence. Easier to pressure.\n\nMiddle schoolers are still figuring out who they are. They want to belong. They want approval. They do not yet have the life experience to dissect federal enforcement policy.\n\nYet somehow we are supposed to believe this is grassroots child-led civic brilliance?\n\nNo.\n\n**This is organized adult activism flowing downhill.**\n\n## The Risk Nobody Wants to Talk About\n\nHere is the part the organizers never advertise.\n\nCrowds are unpredictable.\nEmotions escalate.\nOutside agitators show up.\nCounter protesters show up.\nPolice get involved.\n\nWe have already seen suburban protests escalate into arrests after tensions rose.\n\nNow imagine that scenario with 12 year olds.\n\n**If you truly care about children, you do not put them in that environment.**\n\n\n\n## Schools Are Not Political Staging Grounds\n\nSchool is where children learn reading, math, history, science, discipline, teamwork, and responsibility.\n\nSchool is not where national political campaigns recruit foot soldiers.\n\nIf students want to learn about immigration law, great. Teach it properly.\n\nExplain the Constitution.\nExplain federal authority.\nExplain due process.\nExplain how legislation actually works.\n\nDo it in class.\nWith teachers.\nWith parents informed.\n\nNot through hallway organizing and social media pressure.\n\n## Lake County Parents Need to Wake Up\n\nIf this walkout happens in Lake Villa on February 19, it will not be because kids spontaneously decided to analyze federal enforcement policy during lunch.\n\nIt will be because adults created the environment.\n\nParents need to ask direct questions:\n\n- Who is organizing this?\n- Are teachers involved?\n- Is outside political messaging being distributed on campus?\n- What is the safety plan?\n- Who is accountable if something goes wrong?\n\n**Silence is consent.**\n\n## This Is Bigger Than One Walkout\n\nToday it is ICE.\nTomorrow it is something else.\n\nIf middle school classrooms become staging grounds for whatever national controversy is trending, then education becomes secondary and activism becomes the curriculum.\n\nThat is not what public schools are for.\n\n\n\n## The Line Must Be Drawn\n\nYou want to protest?\nDo it on Saturday.\nDo it at a public park.\nDo it as an adult.\n\n**Leave middle schoolers out of it.**\n\nLake County deserves schools focused on education, not mobilization.\n\nOur children deserve protection from adult political warfare.\n\n**Enough.**",

"content_html": "\n\nStudents are walking out of school to protest ICE.\n\nNot during lunch.\nNot after school.\nDuring instructional hours.\n\nAnd while that's happening, here's what federal prosecutors in Chicago just announced:\n\nA Waukegan resident was indicted on 12 federal counts, including:\n\n- Bringing illegal immigrants into the United States for commercial advantage\n- Harboring illegal immigrants\n- Forced labor\n\nHe is also facing serious criminal charges in Lake County, including multiple counts of criminal sexual assault and failure to register as a sex offender.\n\nAccording to prosecutors, victims were allegedly threatened and made to believe harm would come to them or their families if they didn't comply.\n\n**This is not political theory.**\n**This is not cable news spin.**\n**This is a federal indictment tied to crimes alleged to have happened in our community.**\n\n\n\nSo here's the question for Lake County school administrators:\n\n**Are you teaching students what ICE actually does?**\n\nBecause Homeland Security Investigations led this case.\n\nThe same federal agency being protested is the one that brought forward a human trafficking and forced labor case.\n\nIf students are walking out to protest immigration enforcement, are they being educated on the difference between:\n\n- Legal immigration policy debates\n- Asylum and visa reform\n- And criminal trafficking operations exploiting vulnerable people\n\nOr are they being emotionally mobilized without full context?\n\n\n\nAnd here's the question for parents:\n\n**Are you having that conversation at home?**\n\nBecause if your child is leaving class to protest federal enforcement, you should at least make sure they understand that enforcement includes dismantling trafficking networks, investigating coercion, and prosecuting exploitation.\n\nNo one is saying students can't have opinions.\n\nBut schools are not political organizing centers.\n\nThey are educational institutions funded by taxpayers to teach critical thinking, not amplify slogans.\n\nIf a district allows walkouts, where is the balance?\n\n- Was there an assembly explaining federal criminal trafficking laws?\n- Were victims of forced labor discussed?\n- Was the legal process explained?\n\nOr was it simply a one-sided emotional event?\n\n\n\nLake County deserves better than performative activism during school hours.\n\nIf you want to protest after school, fine.\nIf you want to debate immigration reform, fine.\nIf you want to argue federal overreach, fine.\n\nBut don't pretend ICE exists in a vacuum.\nAnd don't pretend cases like this aren't real.\n\nThis is happening in Waukegan.\nThis is federal court in Chicago.\nThis is our county.\n\nThe adults in the room — administrators, school boards, and parents — need to decide whether they are educating or agitating.\n\n**Because once you encourage political walkouts without full context, you're not teaching civics. You're teaching activism without accountability.**\n\n**Lake County voters are watching.**",

"content_html": "\n\n**Let's stop pretending this was art, culture, or anything remotely appropriate for a national broadcast.**\n\nThe NFL did not give America a halftime show.\n\nThey handed the biggest family event in the country to Bad Bunny and let him turn it into a nightclub performance pushed straight into living rooms full of kids.\n\nAnd that was not accidental.\n\n\n\nIf you do not speak Spanish, you were expected to clap, smile, and stay quiet. The assumption was simple. If people cannot understand the lyrics, the content does not count.\n\nSo let me translate the meaning since defenders keep hiding behind language.\n\nThis performance was built on sexual bragging, promiscuity, objectification, and indulgence. That is the foundation. The beats and visuals were just camouflage.\n\nOne song centers on dodging commitment while cycling through women like disposable entertainment.\n\nAnother celebrates hyper-sexualized club behavior and calls it empowerment.\n\nAnother glorifies wealth, jets, champagne, and excess while folding sex into the lifestyle as just another luxury item.\n\nNone of this is subtle.\n\nNone of it is accidental.\n\nIt is adult club content delivered on a Sunday afternoon broadcast meant for families.\n\n\n\n## This Is Not About Offense. It Is About Standards.\n\nThe Super Bowl used to be the one moment where families could sit together without having to explain adult themes in real time. That expectation is now gone.\n\nBad Bunny did not cross the line by mistake. He ran past it with choreography, lighting cues, and full intention.\n\nWhat followed was even worse.\n\nAnyone who questioned the performance was told it was *cultural*, that they did not understand Spanish, or that the content was *empowering*.\n\nThat is dishonest.\n\nSex is not empowerment when it is the entire message.\n\nShock is not art when it is the point.\n\nHiding explicit themes behind a foreign language does not make them acceptable. It makes the decision calculated.\n\n\n\n## The NFL Knew What It Booked\n\nThe NFL knew what it booked.\n\nBad Bunny knew what he performed.\n\nThe audience was expected to accept it without question.\n\nMany parents did not.\n\nBad Bunny is free to make whatever music he wants. No one is stopping him. But the Super Bowl halftime show is not his nightclub, not his tour stop, and not his personal test of how far cultural standards can be pushed.\n\n\n\nLast night was not bold.\n\nIt was not brave.\n\nIt was not groundbreaking.\n\nIt was trash culture repackaged as progress and forced into a space where it did not belong.\n\n**A lot of Americans are done pretending otherwise.**\n\n*— Mickey*",

"content_html": "## Dear NFL: You Can Keep Bad Bunny. America Already Changed the Channel.\n\n*By Mike \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*\n\nWhile the NFL once again tried to lecture America during its halftime show, millions of Americans quietly did something far more powerful.\n\n**They tuned out.**\n\nInstead of swallowing another dose of celebrity activism and identity politics, millions chose the Turning Point USA All-American Halftime Show, a celebration of actual American culture, faith, freedom, and music that doesn't sneer at the people who built this country.\n\n\n\n### The numbers don't lie.\n\nDuring the February 2026 broadcast, the alternative halftime show pulled between 3 and nearly 5 million live viewers on YouTube alone, with TPUSA reporting over 100 million total streams across platforms. That wasn't an algorithm accident. That was a statement. More than 90,000 people showed up in person, while millions more watched from living rooms, garages, and bars across the country.\n\n\n\nNo forced messaging.\n\nNo finger-wagging.\n\nNo celebrities telling working Americans how to think.\n\nJust music, pride, and unapologetic love of country. Featuring artists like Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett, the show reminded everyone what happens when you stop talking down to your audience and start respecting them.\n\n\n\nMeanwhile, the NFL keeps shoving performers like Bad Bunny down America's throat while pretending it's \"culture.\" It's not. It's corporate virtue signaling wrapped in a halftime costume. And people are done pretending they like it just because ESPN tells them to.\n\n### This wasn't about music genres. It was about choice.\n\nThe NFL forgot something fundamental. Football belongs to the fans, not the activist class. Not the marketing departments. Not the Hollywood political bubble. And definitely not the celebrities who can barely relate to the people paying for tickets, jerseys, and Sunday Ticket subscriptions.\n\nWhat the All-American Halftime Show proved is simple. There is a massive audience that still loves this country and is tired of being mocked for it. An audience that doesn't need to be re-educated between quarters. An audience that is done being told that patriotism is embarrassing or outdated.\n\n\n\nAccording to Newsweek, this represents a growing alternative conservative audience. They're right, even if they don't like why.\n\n### America is no longer captive.\n\nThe NFL can keep chasing applause from coastal elites and activist celebrities. That's their choice. But they should understand something very clearly.\n\nWe have options now. We have platforms. We have alternatives. And when you insult your audience long enough, don't be shocked when millions stand up, turn the channel, and take their attention elsewhere.\n\nSo to the NFL, enjoy your woke halftime lectures. America already found something better.\n\n**And we liked it enough to show up by the millions.** 🇺🇸",

"content_html": "# Waukegan Students Walk Out of School to Crucify the Sitting President\n\nWhat happened in Waukegan should infuriate every parent and taxpayer in Lake County.\n\nStudents walked out of school to protest ICE, a federal law enforcement agency operating under the current President of the United States, Donald Trump. Instead of being in classrooms learning, they were allowed to leave school grounds to stage political theater in the streets.\n\nAnd yes, the images matter.\n\n\n\nA large depiction of President Trump crucified on a cross was carried publicly. This was not symbolic art. This was not satire. It was a direct visual attack on the sitting President of the United States, created and displayed by students during school hours while administrators apparently stood by.\n\n\n\nMexican flags were carried proudly while American law enforcement was vilified. ICE officers were portrayed as villains without context, facts, or understanding of the law they enforce. This is what happens when activism replaces education.\n\nLet’s be clear. Protest is legal. Using school time to push political ideology is unacceptable.\n\n\n\nSchools are funded to educate, not to operate as political organizing centers. Students do not accidentally organize walkouts like this. Adults allowed it. Someone approved it. Someone looked the other way.\n\nThat means the Waukegan school district needs to answer questions immediately.\n\nWho authorized students to leave school? Which staff members were aware of this walkout in advance? What disciplinary standards apply when instructional time is abandoned for political demonstrations? Why is political activism tolerated while academic performance continues to decline?\n\n\n\nICE enforces federal law passed by Congress. Disagreeing with policy is fine. Teaching students that enforcement itself is immoral or illegitimate is reckless. That mindset produces ignorance, not informed citizens.\n\nParents should be furious. Taxpayers should be demanding accountability. School boards should be put on notice.\n\n\n\nThis is not harmless expression. This is indoctrination. And if it is tolerated here, it will spread to other districts.\n\nLake County needs to wake up. What you tolerate today becomes the norm tomorrow. If you do not want this infecting your community, stop excusing it.\n\nPay attention. Hold the school district accountable. And vote accordingly.",

"content_html": "\n\n# No Kings, They Say — Unless It’s the Latin Kings Threatening ICE\n\n_By Mike “Mickey” Scornavacco_\n\nAmerica is suddenly flooded with smug chants of “No Kings.”\n\nNo kings in politics.\n\nNo kings in leadership.\n\nNo kings anywhere.\n\nThe slogan is everywhere, waved proudly by liberals who claim to hate hierarchy, authority, and anyone they decide looks too powerful.\n\nFunny thing is, those same people go dead silent when actual kings show up — like the Latin Kings, a violent street gang built on intimidation, loyalty to criminal hierarchy, and threats of violence.\n\nThat silence got even louder in Minneapolis when a self-admitted Latin Kings gang member was arrested by ICE and responded by threatening to put a hit on federal officers. Not metaphorically. Not rhetorically. Literally. He also tried to bribe them with ten grand, because apparently that’s how “justice” works in his world.\n\nThis man didn’t just resist arrest. He didn’t just flee recklessly with children in the car. He invoked gang power and threatened murder against law-enforcement officers doing their jobs.\n\nWhere was the “No Kings” crowd then?\n\nNo marches.\n\nNo hashtags.\n\nNo media outrage.\n\nNo lectures about democracy.\n\nBecause it turns out “No Kings” doesn’t actually mean no kings. It means no kings they don’t like.\n\nGang kings? Apparently acceptable.\n\nStreet royalty? Untouchable.\n\nCriminal hierarchies enforced with fear and violence? Suddenly complicated.\n\nLet’s be clear: gangs like the Latin Kings are not misunderstood community groups. They are not cultural expressions. They are organized criminal enterprises that rely on intimidation, violence, and threats to control neighborhoods and silence opposition.\n\nThat is the definition of a king mindset.\n\nAnd yet, the same activists who foam at the mouth over “authoritarianism” have nothing to say when gang members openly threaten federal agents and invoke their criminal networks like private armies.\n\nAmerica does not have a king problem.\n\nAmerica has a gang problem — and a political class that refuses to confront it honestly.\n\nThere are no kings in America.\n\nNot in government.\n\nNot in politics.\n\nAnd damn sure not on our streets.\n\nIf “No Kings” is more than a slogan, then it applies to everyone — including gang members who think their colors, connections, or threats put them above the law.\n\nBecause in this country, the only thing that outranks a gang is the Constitution — and the men and women who enforce it.\n\nAnd that’s not up for debate.",

"content_text": "Federal agents arrested an illegal alien from El Salvador with two prior DUI arrests who attempted to assault ICE officers with a hammer. This is what happens when we fail to enforce the law.",
"content_html": "How much longer are we going to tolerate a system that rewards bad behavior and penalizes those sworn to protect us?\n\nOn January 21 in Rogers, Minnesota, federal agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Wilmer Antonio Mena-Avelar, an illegal alien from El Salvador with not one — but two prior DUI arrests — who attempted to assault ICE officers with a hammer while resisting arrest. Thankfully, these brave officers managed to subdue him without anyone getting seriously hurt.\n\n\n\nLet that sink in. A man with a documented history of drunk driving — a serious, violent risk on America's roads — was back on the streets. Not only that — local authorities issued this individual a Minnesota driver's license. And even after two separate opportunities to alert ICE and let federal authorities take custody? They chose to cut him loose again.\n\nThat's not just incompetence — it's a betrayal of public safety.\n\n## Officers Under Assault\n\nWe are literally watching officers get assaulted, threatened, and ultimately put in harm's way by people who should have been detained before they had the chance to commit more crimes. According to ICE, assaults against officers have skyrocketed — rising over 1,300%, with death threats exploding by more than 8,000%.\n\nThis isn't a statistic — it's a trend that's killing respect for law, order, and those on the front lines of enforcement.\n\nAnd what message does this send? That violations of law — IMMIGRATION law, criminal law, traffic law — are shielded by bureaucratic indifference? That local officials care more about optics than the safety of their own communities?\n\n## The Collapse of Accountability\n\nWhen someone with a violent streak can rack up multiple DUIs, slip through the cracks, and then try to smash a federal officer's skull with a hammer, we are no longer debating policy — we are confronting the collapse of accountability.\n\nEnough is enough. We owe our ICE agents more than platitudes — we owe them a system that backs them up, enforces the law without caveats, and doesn't turn offenders loose because it's \"politically inconvenient.\"\n\nPublic safety isn't optional. Protecting this country's borders and enforcing its laws isn't optional. And letting dangerous individuals wander free until they turn on the very people trying to stop them? That should outrage every American.",

"content_html": "This case should enrage every decent person in America.\n\nMelbin Ramos-Orellana, an illegal alien from Honduras, was convicted of a brutal sexual assault involving forcible sodomy. A court sentenced him to 20 years in prison for that crime. This was not a misunderstanding. This was not a paperwork error. This was violence inflicted on an innocent woman.\n\nAnd here's the part that should make your blood boil.\n\nBefore committing that crime in Virginia, Ramos-Orellana had already entered the United States illegally twice. He was caught and deported in 2004. Then caught and deported again in 2005.\n\n\n\nTwice removed. Twice ignored. Twice allowed back in.\n\nThat is not compassion. That is incompetence.\n\nWhen he was finally released from prison in Chatham, Virginia, ICE did its job and deported him. Good. That removal was necessary. But let's be honest—it came far too late for the woman whose life he shattered.\n\nThis is the human cost of a system that treats borders like suggestions and enforcement like an inconvenience.\n\nPoliticians love to talk in abstractions. \"Migrant.\" \"Non-citizen.\" \"Undocumented.\" Those words are designed to blur responsibility and soften reality. But crimes don't happen in abstractions. They happen to real people, in real places, with permanent consequences.\n\nEvery time the system fails to enforce the law, someone else pays the price. And it's almost never the politicians who caused the failure.\n\n\n\nThis isn't about race. It isn't about hate. It's about basic public safety and accountability.\n\nA government that cannot—or will not—control who enters the country is a government that has abandoned its most fundamental duty: protecting its own people.\n\nICE did what it could at the end. The real failure happened years earlier, when repeated illegal entries were tolerated and enforcement was treated as optional.\n\nIf this makes you uncomfortable, it should. Because ignoring hard truths doesn't make them disappear—it just guarantees more victims.\n\nEnough excuses. Enough slogans. Enough pretending this is compassionate.\n\nLaw matters. Borders matter. And victims matter most of all.",

"content_html": "This is not a one-off. This is not a paperwork error. This is what decades of weakness, excuses, and political cowardice look like in real life.\n\nGiang Van \"Shorty\" Doan should never have been walking free on American soil. Not after armed robbery. Not after meth trafficking. Not after gang ties. Not after a deportation order that should have ended the story more than twenty years ago.\n\nYet here we are.\n\nOriginally welcomed as a refugee in 1982, Doan repaid that generosity by joining violent gangs, pushing poison into communities, and repeatedly victimizing Americans. A nine-year armed robbery sentence. Ordered deported in 2002. Back on the streets anyway. More drug convictions. More damage. More victims. More proof that the system was never designed to protect the public, only to protect itself.\n\nAnd what did the political class do while this criminal bounced in and out of prisons? They told us enforcement was \"cruel.\" They told us borders were \"complicated.\" They told us deportation was \"inhumane.\" Meanwhile, real families paid the price.\n\nThis man was tied to a web of violent gangs and large-scale meth trafficking that poisoned neighborhoods and fueled gun crime. This was not a border crosser looking for work. This was not a paperwork mistake. This was a career criminal who had every opportunity to leave and every reason to be removed.\n\nInstead, politicians chose ideology over safety.\n\n## That Ends Now\n\nUnder this administration, there are no more loopholes, no more endless appeals, no more catch-and-release for violent offenders. We use third-country removals. We enforce deportation orders. We make sure that when someone like this is removed, it is final. No revolving door. No return trips. No second chances at destroying American lives.\n\nThis is what law and order actually looks like. Not slogans. Not hashtags. Results.\n\nIf you are here illegally and you commit violent crimes, sell drugs, or join gangs, your stay is over. Period. You will be removed, and you will not be coming back.\n\nThe American people did not consent to becoming collateral damage in someone else's failed ideology. Our communities are not experiments. Our compassion does not extend to sacrificing our safety.\n\nThis arrest is not something to apologize for. It is something to replicate, over and over, until the message is unmistakable.\n\nThe era of excuses is over. The era of enforcement is back.",

Menno Eicher. Paul Eicher. Simon Girod. Four innocent Americans killed in Indiana when an illegal alien truck driver drove an eighteen-wheeler head on into their vehicle.\n\n\n\nThis was not an accident. This was not unavoidable. This was policy.\n\nThe driver, Bekzhan Beishekeev, an illegal alien from Kyrgyzstan, entered the United States through the Biden administration's CBP One app. The same app Democrats praise. The same system liberals defend. The same pipeline activists and celebrities call \"compassion.\"\n\nThen Pennsylvania handed him a commercial driver's license. Dead Americans on the pavement.\n\n\n\nNow to the celebrities and activists screaming ICE OUT.\n\nTo every celebrity chanting it on stage.\n\nTo every blue check activist posting it online.\n\nTo every white liberal screaming it from a safe suburb with a Black Lives Matter sign on the lawn.\n\nThis family's blood is on your hands.\n\nWhen you scream ICE OUT, this is what you are demanding.\n\nWhen you demand enforcement stop, this is the outcome.\n\nWhen you mock border security and call it racist, this is the price.\n\nFour Americans are dead because your slogans became policy.\n\nYou do not get to cry about safety while demanding law enforcement disappear. You do not get to scream about violence while cheering for open borders. And you do not get to wash your hands of this because the victims do not fit your preferred narrative.\n\nSanctuary states and sanctuary cities are not compassionate. They are reckless. They are dangerous. They are ideological experiments carried out on American families who never consented.\n\nIf Pennsylvania had refused to issue a CDL to an illegal alien, these four men would still be alive. If Democrats had not gutted immigration enforcement and demonized ICE, this driver would never have been here.\n\n\n\nIndiana State Police and ICE did their job after the fact. Too late. Law enforcement is always left cleaning up the bodies after Democrats finish playing politics with public safety.\n\nThis is what open borders look like when ideology meets reality at highway speed.\n\nAn entire family gone.\n\nFour Americans dead.\n\nAnd the people screaming ICE OUT helped make it happen.\n\nRemember that the next time a celebrity lectures you about morality.\n\nRemember it the next time a liberal politician calls enforcement cruel.\n\nAnd remember it every time Democrats pretend sanctuary policies are harmless.\n\nThey are not.\n\nThey kill.",

"content_html": "**Why America Should Skip Bad Bunny's Halftime Lecture and Watch the All American Alternative Instead**\n\n*By Mike \"Mickey\" Scornavacco*\n\n<iframe width=\"100%\" height=\"400\" src=\"https://www.youtube.com/embed/SDByBkPpE5s\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen></iframe>\n\nLet's get one thing straight before the Super Bowl even kicks off. The choice of Bad Bunny as the official halftime headliner is not about entertainment. It is about political messaging. And it is insulting to millions of Americans.\n\nThis guy can barely mutter simple English on a national stage, yet he has no problem trying to influence American immigration policy. At the Grammy Awards, instead of thanking the audience and walking off, Bad Bunny hijacked the moment to shout \"ICE out.\" Not a policy argument. Not a solution. Just a lazy slogan aimed at activists who think enforcing the law is immoral.\n\nLet's be clear. ICE agents are law enforcement officers. They arrest traffickers, cartel members, and violent criminals. They enforce laws passed by Congress. But none of that matters to a celebrity who lives behind gates and security details, far removed from the consequences of the policies he pushes.\n\nNow the NFL wants to hand him the biggest entertainment platform in America.\n\nThe Super Bowl halftime show used to be about unity and celebration. Today it is a political sermon delivered by entertainers who confuse applause with wisdom. Calling this culture is generous. It is propaganda.\n\nThat is why this Super Bowl Sunday, Americans should do something simple and powerful. Do not watch it.\n\nInstead, flip the channel or your phone and watch the Turning Point USA All American Halftime Show, which will be streamed live online during halftime on Turning Point USA's official platforms, including X, Rumble, and YouTube. No network filter. No corporate censors. Just an alternative Americans can actually choose.\n\n\n\nThis is not some fringe protest. It is a deliberate alternative for Americans who are tired of being lectured by celebrities who owe their success to this country while constantly trashing it. The All American Halftime Show is built around faith, family, freedom, and pride in the United States of America.\n\nHeadlined by Kid Rock, this show does not pretend to be neutral while sneaking politics in through the back door. It is honest. It is patriotic. It does not apologize for loving America or respecting its laws.\n\n\n\nThat honesty terrifies the cultural elite.\n\nThey do not want alternatives. They want obedience. They want you sitting quietly while entertainers scold you for believing borders matter, laws matter, and citizenship means something. They want your kids absorbing the message that America is something to be embarrassed by.\n\nDo not give them the ratings. Do not give them the validation. Do not give them the satisfaction.\n\nWhen Bad Bunny steps onto that halftime stage, that is your cue to stand up, grab the remote or your phone, and send a message louder than any slogan shouted at an awards show.\n\nAmerica does not need immigration lectures from entertainers who struggle to speak the language of the country they are criticizing.\n\n**Turn the channel.**\n\n**Open X, Rumble, or YouTube.**\n\n**Watch the All American Halftime Show.**\n\n**Choose pride over propaganda.**",

"title": "Whistles Instead of Accountability: Holly Kim's Illinois Priorities Are Loudly Wrong",
"content_text": "While Lake County taxpayers expect their Treasurer to focus on fiscal responsibility, Holly Kim is busy promoting events centered on assembling whistle kits to prepare for ICE activity.",
"content_html": "Let's stop pretending this is normal.\n\nWhile Lake County taxpayers expect their Treasurer to focus on fiscal responsibility, transparency, and stewardship of public funds, Holly Kim is busy promoting events centered on \"preparing for the next wave of ICE activity\" by assembling whistle kits.\n\nNot budgets.\n\nNot audits.\n\nNot pension liabilities.\n\nNot Illinois' chronic financial mismanagement.\n\nWhistles.\n\n\n\nThis isn't speculation. It's her own social media. Public posts. Public promotion. Public priorities.\n\n\n\nHolly Kim is running for Illinois Comptroller, a role that exists for one reason: to safeguard taxpayer money and oversee state finances. Yet instead of articulating a serious financial agenda, her campaign energy is being spent amplifying activist events that frame federal law enforcement as a threat communities need to \"prepare\" for.\n\nThat should concern every voter, regardless of party.\n\n\n\nWhen a public official promotes events designed around anticipating and responding to federal enforcement actions, it sends a message. Even if no one explicitly says \"interfere,\" the implication is clear: law enforcement is something to warn against, mobilize against, and organize around.\n\nThat is not the job of a county treasurer.\n\nIt is not the job of a state comptroller.\n\nAnd it certainly isn't fiscal leadership.\n\n## Illinois Needs Financial Leadership\n\nIllinois is drowning in debt. Residents are crushed by property taxes. Businesses are leaving. Families are leaving. The state needs disciplined financial oversight, not political theater.\n\nInstead of offering concrete solutions to these problems, Holly Kim is aligning her campaign with ideological activism completely unrelated to the office she's seeking.\n\nVoters should ask a simple question:\n\n**If this is where her focus is now, what happens when she holds statewide financial power?**\n\nThe Comptroller's office demands neutrality, precision, and accountability. It is not a platform for social signaling. It requires someone obsessed with numbers, controls, and transparency — not someone distracted by causes far outside the scope of the role.\n\n## This Isn't About Compassion. It's About Competence.\n\nIt's not about immigration policy. It's about responsibility.\n\nPublic office is not a personal megaphone. It's a duty.\n\nAnd when a candidate shows you, publicly and repeatedly, what they prioritize — believe them.\n\n**Illinois deserves a Comptroller focused on money, not whistles.**",
